[@Bright_Ops] Eh, large Empire is fair enough, but time generally means that provinces slowly convert to the state religion.
And either way, the shared history of the many kingdoms strongly lends itself to there being one religion. Think Germany prior to unification minus the Holy Roman Emperor (they're all German, they're all Christian, then bam, unification)
