[@Famotill] Hi there!  A [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boatswain]Bosun and the Boatswain[/url] are the same thing.  That has already been reserved by DeadBeatWalking.  It would seem I'm out of luck with officer roles if a [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navigator]navigator[/url] and [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quartermaster#Pirate_quartermasters]quartermaster[/url] are considered the same role.  

Perhaps I can be simply an able bodied sailor/pirate then.  Nothing wrong with starting from the bottom up! :)
