EDIT: This means I can theoretically field a small army of 16.000 +- soldiers based on soldiers and noblemen (but not every nobleman is a warrior obviously). 

Conscription is definitely a thing, though, so I could always yell 'yo farmers, take this sword and board, and go fight'.
