It hadn’t dawned on Dante until he took a moment to take the air in. It felt nice compared to the warm weather outside in that hot sun. Dante knew there had to be a good handful set of Apollo kids that were eating it up. Inversely, he knew that the Artemis kids must’ve been in hell, since their affiliation is more nighttime in the sight of the moon. It always made him smile somewhat when he thought about those two kinds of demigods. Both had so much in common, but when one really thought about it, they couldn’t be more different. Apollo’s kin found warmth in the sun, but were at their weakest when it went dark. Artemis’ kin reveled in the night, but at the first daybreak, they were as exposed as a human babe without their mother or father. Dante let out a small laugh. For some reason, that brought humor to his mind. “Thanks dad.” Dante briefly said. He stretched, his joints popping. A sound of relief escaped his mouth - a sort of squeaking relief. His head turned, and right beside him. Alarmed as he was, Dante kept his surprise to himself. He observed this one. A little, frail thing she was. Blonde hair that was more golden than the sun itself. He examined what she had in her lap. A notebook? No, that’s not quite right. It wasn’t just a notepad. This was something more. Green eyes examined what they could. It was some kind of unique-looking sketchpad? Perhaps it was a tome. Those were large, and this girl did look to be the type to be weak in the physical strength area. The next thing he observed was her choice of clothes. It was elegant and pure. Whoever this strange one was, Dante could tell already that she was one of those types that had a pure heart. Those were rare to come around. Dante hadn’t known anyone that gave him that impression right off the bat. Still, there was something he couldn’t shake. Why isn’t she talking? Truly, that was something that made him think more. Even someone as shy as Dante was said some kind of “hello”-variant. Perhaps she was so shy that she was rendered speechless from her awkwardness. That was a very real possibility for sure. Dante didn’t think too much into it. She was obviously shy, and she was obviously his roommate. The proper thing to do would be to introduce himself. But..talking.. Truly, Dante was at a crossroads. It was proper to introduce one’s self to another especially if that other person seemed a lot younger than you, but how he hated talking first. It made him feel totally awkward and exposed, much like an Apollo kid in dusk and Artemis kid in dawn. If he could help it, he wouldn’t be the first one, but something in him was telling the Son of Hades to make that initiative. “Um,” Dante spoke first, his voice stopping. He looked at the girl, examining her frame even further. His green orbs took the sight of her face. She was young-looking, but Dante couldn’t help but notice a sensitive expression. “I’m Dante Belmont, Son of Hades.” Dante said without even blinking. He felt his heart starting to beat from the anxiety of the moment. “And you?” Dante asked as politely a she could, trying to put on the least-alarming smile that he could. What he had on his face shouldn’t even be considered a smile. It was more of a slight, positive arch of the mouth. No teeth or anything - just all lips.
