Slag turned one of his three eyestalks to face the eyebot. As it only responded in a beep, he chose to respond in transmission instead. A much faster way to communicate than inefficient audio transmissions across acoustic waves that might be interpreted by the red commie menace.  He rose to attention and saluted with his 6 point articulation pincer arm.
