Tokyo Tower, Persona Universe
A few hours later, Osamu Akiyama was accompanied by two somewhat older people (28 to Osamu's 18), one of them a short-haired blond male who preferred green and white clothing, and who wore a hat in order to spare his head the heat of the Tokyo summer, and the other one was a brown-haired woman who liked pink, white, and yellow in tasteful amounts. These were Takeru 'T.K' and Hikari 'Kari' Takaishi, who, as you may guess, have been married for a few years now.
Also with them was Mewtwo, the Artificial Pokemon, who was able to hide himself and the group from nearby crowds with his psychic powers.
"So, what are we here for?" asked Takeru. "It had better not be anything dangerous, Osamu."
"Oh," said the 18-year old boy, "it's not if we do everything right. You see, Mewtwo's going to help me retrofit Tokyo Tower into a 'Hope Antenna', which will amplify your Crest Powers in order to spread waves of Hope and Light all across the world, tricking the resident Eldritch Abominations, Erebus and Nyx, into thinking that Humanity had given up on its suicidal urges. This will allow me to ressurect the hero behind Nyx's sealing, Minato Arisato - or was it Makoto Yuki, so that he can help us against Malakai the Multiversal Conqueror."
Takeru and Hikari blinked. Then, Takeru was the first to express outrage.
"What?! Did you know what happened the last time we spent our Crest Power to maintain a barrier? We were unable to unlock our Ultimate and Mega Evolutions when the world needed saving!"
"Dear," said Hikari, "I think Osamu has already planned for that," she then looked at the purple-eyed boy questioningly, "right?"
"Right," Osamu spoke, "the beauty of my Technomagical retrofit is that you only have to sacrifice a little of your Crest Power in order to achieve the desired results. Anyway, we're wasting time; Mewtwo's getting imaptient."
<That is right,> the Psychic Pokemon spoke telepathically. <I wish to return back to where I and my clones live as soon as possible.>
And with that, Takeru and Hikari sighed, before Mewtwo, who was still keeping everyone hidden, began conjuring up materials in order to secretly retrofit Tokyo Tower without the knowledge of the wider public...
One Retrofit Later
The group were now at Tokyo Tower's observation deck, where Takeru and Hikari, to complete the last stage of the retrofit, were holding hands, channeling their Hope and Light into the tower so as to cause it to finally emit the energies needed to decieve Nyx...
In the meantime, Osamu took out a Hypercube, aka a container that was larger on the inside than it was on the outside, and took out one: a large quantity of sacred earth from Michina Town, where Arceus had manifested long ago, and two: a bottle filled with Pokemon Tears. Mixing the concentrated tears and the earth into a slurry, Osamu began calling upon his reserves of magical energy, using his deft hands to shape the aforementioned slurry into the shape of a body and clothing, which, when the final details were completed, began transforming into flesh and cloth.
Osamu sculpted the body to that of an 18-year old, in order to make the next part of the process - the Breath of Life - less improper.
Breathing in, and charging the air with raw magical energy, Osamu kissed the artificial body and let the magically charged air in his cheeks flow throughout it, hopefully dragging the soul out of the Great Seal and into this new form...
Within the collective unconsciousness between worlds, Elizabeth notices that a very drastic change is about to occur to the Great Seal. "The Great Seal...could this mean that the answer I have been searching so long for has been found by someone else? Well, regardless of this revelation, this means I'll be seeing my old guest much sooner than planned. How shameful. I haven't even been given the time necessary to prepare a party for him!" She remarks.
Back on Earth, as the waves of Hope and Light emanating from Tokyo Tower found a steady rythm, Osamu felt Minato's new body begin to stir, and quickly ended his kiss of life, standing back in order to see if he had succeeded...
As he moves back to gaze upon the vessel he had created, Osamu would see the procedure had gone as planned. Everyone's favorite blue-haired silent protagonist was back. He slowly opens his eyes, stretching as though he had just awoken from a VERY long sleep. "Where am I?" He inquires. Considering how long it has been since he had last been on Earth, Osamu certainly had to catch him up with the current events. Knowledge is power, after all.
"Ah," spoke Osamu embrassedly, "you are in Tokyo Tower, year 2016. I and my group," he gestured at an exhausted-looking Takeru and Hikari and a cold, unreadable Mewtwo, "have just found a way to 1.) repel Nyx without you having to do so yourself, and 2.) ressurect you in a new body. So, yeah, The Fall won't happen now." He smiled.
"'You and your friends will be reunited."
Minato takes a moment to process everything that has been said. Despite taking this time to do so, he still can't wrap his head around what has just been revealed to him. "How do I know if I can trust you?" He asks, being rather blunt. For all he knew, this could be some sort of trick set up by Erebus to deceive him, to build up his hopes. Though he had been fond of one day seeing his comrades again, Minato wondered if they would even recognize him. He felt that they'd probably believe that he was simply an illusion, his being a mere conception of their minds.
"You will know that you can trust me," Osamu said, "because I am going to be upfront about what I want from you: I want the services of one of the bravest heroes in this sector of the Multiverse, to fight against a variety of lesser threats to the order of the worlds, and, if possible, one final threat that would dwarf even Nyx*." And of course, having a handsome person like you at my beck and call is...flattering, were Osamu's disreputable thoughts.
"Why would you serve me, you must be asking now?" the 18-year old didn't betray said ignoble thoughts, "well, simple: you don't have to. But, I am offering various job benefits and perks along with the opportunity to save the world," the boy then took out a small smartphone fitted with a holographic display, showing Minato the contract.
"Unlike, say, the Four Holy Beasts of the Digital World, I am prepared to offer a house, a high salary that is equal to an officer in the JSDF, a car - another reason I aged you up to 18 - and a scholarship to a University of your choice. Same for your friends; they'll be offered that same bargain." Takeru and Hikari frowned further at Osamu Akiyama disaparging the Four Holy Beasts, but they couldn't do anything.
"Oh, and you get to work together with said friends."
The offer being made by the boy standing before him caused Minato to simply sigh, seeming rather exasperated at how desperate he seemed to be to get him fight under him. If Osamu didn't realize he had made a bad move, he certainly would now. "You're wasting your time. I don't work under anyone. Such an extravagant life isn't my style either." He responds. Despite his memory being hazy, Minato didn't plan on being a dog of this boy's military anytime soon. If anything, his time would be better spent searching for his friends.
Osamu bowed his head in sadness at that.
"Fine," he said, "you can leave; I won't force you." He turned his head away. "I'm sorry for trying to get something out of bringing you back." He could have mentioned that Minato didn't have any support network or worldly assets now, that he wouldn't be able to have any life outside without the Mon Alliance's help. But he didn't, because deep inside, Osamu Akiyama was a kinder person than expected.
So, all he would give as Minato stood there was a sigh...
Takeru and Hikari would look at Osamu with sympathy afterwards; they genuinely pitied him despite his annoying traits.
"We'll defeat that Malakai guy on our own," spoke Takeru.
"Yeah," reassured Hikari, "we still have plenty of people willing to help..."
Seeing this attempt at his allies cheering Osamu up causes Minato to smirk. "Those bonds...I want to see their strength. I might reconsider your proposal if you can defeat me..." He states as he places his right hand on his Evoker, removing it from its holster nonchalantly.
Osamu stood up, seeing his chance.
"All right," he stood up, activating his Demon Summoning Program, conjuring up the golden, glowing Sun Hawk that was Horus. "I'm going to fight you, and I won't lose."
"Osamu!" shouted Takeru, "Horus might be strong, but you're a Scientist and Ritual Mage, fighting a straight fighter head-on isn't something you can win!"
"At least allow us to lend you a hand!" Hikari implored. "I can have Gatomon out here in just a few seconds!"
<It is his fight,> Mewtwo objected, <His' to win or lose.>
"I am ready," Osamu Akiyama said with determination in his tone. "I need you, and so I will fight you."
