Okay, here's the plot as of 7/1/2016.
Ambrose and Misha are captured by some people who have lost their ability to shift, and want it back. They are about three state's distance away from the forest, and have been looking for shifters for years in order to run tests, etc on.
Since Misha is currently a prisoner, the idea is that Sacha and the other Rabins assume she kidnapped/took Ambrose as a reverse prisoner. So the Rabins go on a warpath, to find that Misha and Ambrose have left the forest completely.

The idea is that the group who captured them is fairly large, but is unable to travel such a large distance except for small runs. They are taking Ambrose and Misha back to their home base, and plan to make another run in about a month to see if they were the only ones in the forest.
