I vote complete restart for a few reasons. As you pointed out most of the original players are gone and really all that was done in the last RP was establish their characters. Since we'd either be pushing them to the side or killing them off the whole intro becomes moot. Be easier to just wipe the slate clean.

Another, and this is just a completely personal opinion, the first mission the team got felt like way too big a leap. Taking out [i]one[/i] of the terrorist leaders feels like something the team should earn, having all three handed to them right off the bat just feels cheap.
