With everyone ready to go, it seemed, Brent waved them onwards down Main Street. [color=f7941d]"All we have to do to get to Route 701 is follow Main Street all the way South."[/color] He said, the others trailing behind him, Lily was taking in all the sights she hadn't seen yet of New Amber Town along the way, as were their Pokemon. [color=39b54a]"I said this to my Dad on the plane, this doesn't seem like a town, I could actually compare this to the scale of Goldenrod."[/color] She mentioned as they walked. [color=f7941d]"Yeah, it's pretty big, not sure why they kept the 'Town' part of it, guess it just has a nice ring to it."[/color] Brent replied.

After a few minutes of walking they finally arrived at the footpath out of New Amber Town that was known as Route 701. [color=f7941d]"Route 701 here is a nice traveling path, especially for new trainers and such. Rolling hills with some woods on either side of the path. Pokemon are usually pretty docile, they say. And, as I said before, we should make it to the Pokemon Center by sunset if nothing happens."[/color] Lily nodded, looking out over the path ahead. [i][color=39b54a]"So this is where it begins... I'm ready."[/color][/i] She thought to herself. [color=39b54a]"Well, the sun isn't going to wait for us, guys, let's go!"[/color] She said, taking off down the path at a semi-brisk pace. Brent followed right behind her.

Olivier mentioned that usually only the Elite Four and Champions of the regions had access to the things required for Mega Evolution, leaving him scratching at his head. [color=8dc73f]"Are you kidding? Mega Evolution is THE thing right now, I've heard that so many people can do it, and even more Mega Evolutions have been discovered, and continue to be discovered today! In fact..."[/color] He looked back towards the Pokemon Center. [color=8dc73f]"That Feraligatr... that might be a new Mega, I haven't seen or heard of one before..."[/color]

Then Olivier mentioned the name Diantha. [color=8dc73f]"Diantha... I've heard that name somewhere..."[/color] Said Michael, digging through a backpack and pulling out a magazine. [color=8dc73f]"Right, she's a big movie star in Kalos... and she's the Kalos League Champion. And you think he's on the same level as her? I'm not sure about that..."[/color]

[h3][color=0072bc]Brooks[/color][/h3][b][Route 701 - Pokemon Center][/b]

[color=f49ac2]"Thank you for your patience, I took a look at your Pokemon and they're all fighting fit!"[/color] Said Nurse Joy, handing the tray back to Brooks as he attatched the five Pokeballs back to his belt. [color=0072bc]"Thank you, I'll be back later, so save a room for me here."[/color] Nurse Joy nodded, and returned to her work. Brooks headed out the front door with his Feraligatr, heading back North along Route 701. The sun would be setting in a few hours, that would be the time that 'They' would finally start working.

[h3][color=darkgray]Bishop[/color][/h3][b][New Amber Town - Maple Pokemon Lab][/b]

It seemed the crowds had finally diminished for the day, and most of the lab aides had gone home. She was just putting a few things away when her Pokegear went off. [color=darkgray]"Ma'am. Yes, I've got the latest data, I'll transmit it to headquarters now... You need my help on an assignment? Acknowledged, I'll put in my leave of absence and join you soon. Bishop out."[/color] She quickly hung up, and inserted the Flash Drive she used earlier into a special port on her Pokegear, transferring all information on it to an undisclosed location.

Then she left an email to all the aides under her management. [i][color=darkgray]"I'm sorry to leave on such short notice, but something has come up that I cannot ignore. I'm not sure how long I will be gone, so keep the lab in one piece while I'm away. Bishop."[/color][/i] With that, she hung up her lab coat, grabbed a hooded sweatshirt, locked up the Lab, and headed out to destinations unknown.
