What is Harem in the anime and manga world?
"Harem (ハーレムもの hāremumono; "from harem"?) in anime and manga is an emphasis on polygamous or love triangle relationships characterised by a protagonist surrounded amorously by three or more members of either the same and/or opposing gender, sex, and/or love interests.[1] When it is a yuri or male-hetero oriented harem series, the polygynous relationship is informally referred to as a female harem or seraglios. When it is a yaoi or female-hetero oriented harem series, the polyandrous relationship is informally referred to as a male harem, reverse harem, or gyakuhāremu"
So for some reason, I am feeling like doing a harem or reversed harem RP. I am willing to do both but that being said I would want one of each if I can. I am very open to it being either straight or gay, lesbian or whatever sexual based. I am very willing to play all the characters who aren't the main character and on that am very open to the genre you want it in. I can do any settings/genres, all of them will have a slice of life elements so you won't be escaping that. Basically, a plot will be built around the idea of a harem/reversed harem. A sci-fi story might involve space or a future based city, etc. A modern one will probably be a school/college or even work environment based on an underlaid plot. A fantasy RP could go anywhere so the plot can be anything alongside the harem element. For this RP I will play female, male and those in-between if I have to which is no problem and probably kind of cool at the same time.
This will either be in a thread which would have to go to PMs for those who like to get dirty or just PMs which I don't like too much but happy to do if you like those.
About me:
I am over the age of 18 so if you want to do this you have to be at the age legally to do this which is 18. I am not getting in trouble for anyone so be wise and be thoughtful OK. I am a nice, friendly guy who tends to make people laugh though on a site like this might not happen for X reason. I don't mind chatting with people if you want that. I am however a horror freak and so gore, the supernatural, aliens and monsters are something I like. The Xenomorph are probably my favourite alien species, that being said I won't bring that stuff up in detail if you aren't someone who likes that stuff. I am also a big gamer and so I tend to try and make video game based RP's. I am also a music lover and so I make RP's based on that as well. I am fairly open to one's sexuality, you can be whatever you want because you are you and you aren't hurting anybody. I am a very open straight guy and so I can do and play all sorts of characters.
I tend to like to play female characters more as they spark ideas more than males but that being said I do have males characters as well. Probably about 10%-15% of my characters are male. Use to be 70% which was before I learnt female characters are easier to make due to the creative spark I get from them. I tend to give varying post lengths but I usually never do less than a paragraph so I kind of expect my partner to do the same. I guess the odd one liner here and there is fine but don't make it a habit. I have also never left an RP since my run on this guild since 2010, everything ended because of my partners.
I am OK with the smut stuff if you want it, I don't go around finding it but I am OK if people want it. In fact, I have done it once so far, perhaps even a second time soon as well. However, the plot will be the main point, none of that I am horny 24/7 crap. A friend of mine had that and let's say they got bored with it, they did not drop it but lost interest in writing it all the time. I am OK with people being perverts too, I mean it is not like they are hurting anyone. I don't mind people leaving RP's if they say but it makes it harder to want to do something with you again. I hate that I have one but it prevents me from repeating the same shit with the said player. Half of the list is pretty pointless as they aren't on anymore, the list was created when I started RPing in 2010. I made it right after my first group went to shit. Power playing and meta-gaming were happening. In the end, I am just a nice guy trying to RP with some nice people so I can get better writing and possibly write those book ideas I have. I am also a somewhat OK composer, I have improved since I first started where I would call myself crap at it. I am open to questions about me or anything so doesn't be afraid to ask.
