[@Jedly] the best way for Erwin to have the Zeitgeist is if he were A. A rich kid with a lot of money (not necessarily to buy the machine, but to pull the right strings to get it to him). or B. Not a rookie. 

I'm just really not sold on the whole idea of a rookie. The character concept doesn't have to go away, I just dont want another rookie in the mix. The whole rookie magic begins to lose its shine once there's more than one. When there's one kid breaking down because she's killed her first man, that's character development. When there's two... its just a chore of taking care of the new kids.
