[b][u]Backstory:[/u][/b]
[indent]The cousin of fellow world famous magician Zatanna and nephew of the late legendary Zatara.  Zachary was shown to be capable of homo-magi powers much like them.  Interesting since neither of his parents were capable.  So Zatanna and Zatara both trained Zachary in the magic arts.  Zachary was able to show a lot of promise even early on.  Earning plenty of talent show awards as he went through school.

However unlike his cousin and uncle, Zachary had a thirst for attention that couldn't be quenched.  He was the middle child of a family of three and didn't hide his disdain for it.  The attention his magic brought to him went to his head.  His ego grew with each achievement and soon Zachary became a difficult person to be around, to put it nicely.  Especially as soon Zachary was able to start touring the US, and later the world in between going to high school.

However his life became difficult when Zachary found out his uncle was killed when a seance he performed went horribly wrong.  Zachary and Zatanna, who he hadn't talked too for a few years to that point, and the two performed their own seance to see him one last time.  The spirit of Zatara spoke very kindly to Zatanna about continuing the family legacy.  When Zachary got angry and asked why he wasn't being thanked.  Zatara told him bluntly that he was embarrassed by Zachary's diva like behavior.  As Zatara's spirit faded back to the afterlife, Zachary found himself finally having to emotionally look in the mirror for the first time ever.  Around this time the seven individuals of the Justice League vanished under mysterious circumstances.  Zachary decided the time for being [i]at least[/i] mildly decent began there.[/indent]

[indent]For this RP I'm going to go ahead and give him full homo-magi powers, unlike in the comics where he can't perform any spells that involve himself or a person or animal of a certain size.  Personality wise his trying to not be such a prick, but even he can't guarantee that it'll be easy.[/indent]
