There are two rules:

A Mage can't be an Esper.
An Esper can't be a Mage.

However, an Esper is both magical and scientific but more on the scientific side. Looks at Escana explanation.
The stronger the Esper, the higher the mutation. For example, it's like saying Natsu looking like a dragon. In this case, Aiden Cross your OC being a dragon hybrid.
