[@Cyclone] Eh, coming uninvited, with an army of a hundred Khargats (who proceed to majorly disrespect a 'holy' place - and they themselves are heathens), and not having announced his coming at an earlier point, and the entitled attitude (bringing slaves is definitely acting entitled and suggests that he does not under any circumstance expect to be turned away)... would explain the less-than-ecstatic greeting Chugo has received. Elendin is probably being far too kind in allowing him to remain. A more appropriate reaction would probably have been a toned down, less xenophobic Rurik - Chugo and his men get sent back home immediately. Allowing him to stay is definitely a kindness that will see Elendin get on the bad side of at least three advisers. I mean, trying to be nice to one adviser at the expense of making enemies of three others isn't great. At the same time, Bastien drawing a sword in the throne room and questioning the young king so aggressively definitely deserves a harsh punishment of some kind. No matter how bad Chugo's arrival was, that's just a bit...woah. But Elendin is still a boy-king, and in the context of him still being new and not wishing to overly antagonise any particular faction, his current course of action (until he can retire and find a better way to deal with it all, after some sage advice >.>) is for the best.
