"Alright Kid, no more whining get up!" Rekin shouted, at Kiro "I was going to teach you a simple dodging technique, but now I know your opponent practices judo. So I'll teach you a offensive technique instead!" the master said, sounding like this would be better than what he was about to do "So I'm going to go for a uppercut with the palm of my hand, and all you need to do is grab my arm okay?" The master asked, waiting for a response.

"Okay, okay," Kiro mumbled, as he slowly dragged himself up off the ground. "Is this some ancient kung fu fighting technique brought down from generation to generation?" Kiro asked, hoping that this would indeed be the answer to all his problems. The uppercut came slow, as Kiro easily caught it. He could tell he was holding back a lot of his power. Especially when he compared it to how he saw the other masters move when they trained. "What now?" He questioned, as he held onto Rekin's wrist. Kiro yawned, how was this actually going to help him!?

"Now your opponent lets their guard down so it's the perfect time to strike!" Rekin shouted, soon pushing his elbow with his other hand hitting Kiro up in the air "You see it's a simple technique, but most people wouldn't expect it." The master said looking at Kiro realizing he should have held back more.

"Master, why!" Kiro screamed out, as he went flying through the air. Kiro landed flat on his back, as he rubbed his neck. "It felt like my neck was about to break! How'd you do that, old man!?" Kiro explained to his master, as he quickly ran over to his master's feet. "Please! Teach me your ways, Great Sensei Rekin!" Kiro cried, as he hugged the man's legs. "I need to know this technique!" He continued to cry.

"First of all I'm not old I'm 33." The master said, brushing the boy off his legs "Second of all, like I said it's a simple technique, all you have to do is..." the master said, not wanting to do the technique again to Kiro thinking he might kill him "First you do a uppercut to the chin, with a open hand, at close range, your opponent will probably grab this hand to stop the attack, that's when you use your other hand to strike your elbow, now the force of two hands is behind the one hand, and since your hand is on his chin there's no way he can dodge!" Rekin shouted, now seeing the boy looked a little confused "Here how about you try it on me." the master said, leaving himself wide open.

"Uh, right!" Kiro nodded, as he quickly shot his open palm up to the master's chin, who easily caught. Kiro wasn't even trying to go slow. "And then I use my other hand, right?" Kiro questioned before doing so, as the master nodded. "Here I go!" Kiro exclaimed, as he used his other hand to push his right arm upward. Kiro didn't use all of his force, as he knew the damage that could be done.

"Kiro, what are you doing!?" Bakusa screamed at the boy, as he listened to the technique take place. "If you practice holding back, then you're only going to do the same when it comes to the real fight! You need to practice using your full strength, or else you'll never be able to use it when you need it the most! You think that Iron Grip Shaz guy will be affected by a weak form like that!? He'd knock you flat on your back, as soon as you finished!" Bakusa screamed at him, as the other masters glared at him. He kept saying he wasn't actually going to train Kiro, but he sure did butt in a lot for someone who was only spectating.

"Uh, yes, sensei, I apologize! I'll try, I just, didn't want to hurt anyone." Kiro laughed awkwardly, as he bowed to Bakusa.

"Don't call me that, you idiot! I'm no master of yours!" He angrily expressed, as he had began to blush once Kiro called him sensei.

Kiro tried the move all over again, as he open palm was caught once more. "Okay, sensei, I won't hold back this time!" He assured him, as he used the combined power of both arms to shoot out one deadly attack to Rekin's chin. Even at Kiro's low level, any normal man would be seriously injured from this attack.

Bakusa smirked. "That's better, kid."

After Kiro's attack Rekin's head flew up looking like it broke his neck "You have some real potential kid." the man said before putting his head back down "However, you must promise me that you will never do this move full power on a weak opponent because if you do they will die." Rekin said looking even more serious than usual.

Shin spit out a mouth full of tea just so he could tell them something "So does that mean you already dead!," Shin yelled as he began to laugh at Rekin. "You must just be a ghost that i'm seeing then," Shin said as he laughed some more.

"What!? It could kill someone!? Why did you even teach me the technique!?" Kiro went back in the fetal position, as he continued to mope. "I can't use the technique if there's a chance the guy could die from it. I really am going to die." He drew circles in the sand.

Bakusa scratched the back of his head. He trained on that sand, he couldn't have Kiro staining it with his womanly tears. "Hey, kid!" Bakusa yelled out to the boy.

"Huh, what is it?" Kiro stood up from the ground, wiping his tears away.

"In honor of, uh today being the anniversary of when Muay Thai was created, I'm going to teach you a technique or two of my own to defeat this enemy of yours." He lied to cover up his true reasons, as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Is it going to kill me?" Tears started to form in Kiro's eyes.

"Stop crying, you little baby!" Bakusa screamed harshly at him, as he then caught a glimpse of Asuka's expression. 'Right, right. I need to be gentle with him. Like hunting a deer. You have to ease up on him, careful not to startle it; that's when you rip it to shreds!' Bakusa thought up his new strategy. "I mean, no, no, don't worry. I am probably one of the gentlest of masters, I assure you." He completely changed his tone to try and reel Kiro back in. "Now, Kiro, can you tell me a bit more about his fighting style? Do you think he's more of a sports fighter, or a street thug?" He calmly questioned.

"Well, I'm not really sure, actually. Niijima telling us was the first time I had ever heard of the guy. Why, is it important?" Kiro curiously responded.

"To know an opponent's precise fighting style is one of the most important thing!" Bakusa went back to screaming angrily, as he clenched his fists.

"I'm so sorry, please don't kill me!" Kiro cried, as he ran to hide behind Asuka.

"No, wait, Kiro, come back. I'm sorry, I got a little carried away there. I was just hoping you could tell me so we could get a better idea on how to deal with him." Bakusa did another complete personality shift, as he rubbed his chin. "If his 'iron grip' is as terrifying as everyone says it is, we will assume that he is a sports fighter."

"Okay, fair enough." Kiro agreed with a nod, as he slowly inched back to Bakusa.

"You see, Kiro, judo mainly focuses on throws, chokes, and joint locks. And in an actual judo match, this is how you would get your points to win. Guys will spend years trying to master these moves, eventually getting to the point where they could throw and sling you around in whatever sort of way they desired. Remember that in the fight, once you get in their grip, you're like putty in their hands. You have to be extra careful, especially if the guy's trained." The master explained, as Kiro butted in.

"I get it, they're really scary. But what does this have to do with me beating them, Sensei Bakusa!?" Kiro begged to know the answer.

"I was getting to it!" He screamed at him again, but quickly reverted back to his calm tone of speaking. "You see, you spend so long preparing for judo matches, you forget what it's like in a real fight. A lot of times fighters work to perfect their biggest strengths, rather than their weakest weaknesses. You see, in competitive judo, strikes aren't allowed, and so many judo fighters don't focus so much on how to use them, and more importantly, how to properly block them." Bakusa further explained.

Kiro slammed his fist down into an open palm. "I get it now!" He happily exclaimed.

Bakusa smirked, he was almost having fun teaching the kid what he had to offer. "Now that that's explain, let me tell you a little bit about Muay Thai. You see, in the world of martial arts, Muay Thai is known as the Science of Eight Limbs," he began,

Kiro counted his own limbs, only coming up with four. "What do you mean? A person only has four limbs." Kiro reassured the master.

"You have elbows and knees, don't you!? A Muay Thai fighter uses them so much, they're included in too." Bakusa went back to screaming, as Kiro had rudely interrupted him once more. He coughed awkwardly. "I understand your masters have neglected to teach you any techniques using your other four limbs. In Muay Thai, however, they are crucial in fighting, as they can be used in very powerful techniques. In my opinion, it might be your best hope to defeat this judo-freak. One solid blow at an unguarded opening is all it would take to put him down, I promise." Bakusa smirked, just as confident in his abilities as every other master.

"Oh, I see!" A wide smile appeared on Kiro's face, as he was eager to learn. "I'm ready for whatever you have to teach me, sir!"

(Just a filler post, you don't even need to really read. XD)

Asuka shook her head at Bakusa's constantly changing emotions. When Kiro tried to hide behind Asuka she gently moved aside so he could face the blind master. He's a wimp against a little bit of yelling... How far will he truly get? she thought. Once Bakusa began to explain Muay Thai Asuka took it as her cue to leave. Kiro needed as little distractions as possible and Rekin and Shin weren't helping.

Asuka went into one of the buildings to see Ally finishing her work with the ropes. The girl was doing something very similar to Kiro's training earlier although everything was one-handed. Asuka knew it would pose challenges, but she didn't think it was anything her disciple couldn't handle. When Ally performed twenty one-handed pull ups, Asuka nodded and brought her to the mat. There were training dummies for Jiu Jitsu that would stand on their own so they were perfect for teaching techniques.

"Today we're going to learn one of the most dangerous techniques in Jiu Jitsu and Judo for that matter. This technique can easily lead into broken and torn legs, but it also leads into great follow-ups if executed properly. It's banned in many competitions for both martial arts, but if anything happens on the streets, I want you to be prepared," Asuka explained, momentarily breaking her serious master role for more of a motherly role. She quickly recovered from this slip and said, "This technique is called Kani Basami or in the English they tend to call it 'flying scissors'."

Asuka grabbed one of the training dummies and set it standing straight up. "Since this technique is so dangerous we're going to work with the dummy until you get the hang of it. I'm going to show you this move a little more than the others even though it's really simple. You need to understand it before performing it."

Asuka stood beside the dummy in a Jiu Jitsu stance, basically a mix between a boxing and wrestler's stance, and put her arm on the outside shoulder. "All you need to do is get your outside leg across the hip," she placed her right leg across the front of the dummy's hips and put it back to the floor, "and your inside leg across the back of the knees" she demonstrated this too, "and get your hand on the ground," she bent sideways, her legs still standing. "You do all of these three at once," Asuka said. She jumped, placing both legs where they needed to go and broke her fall with her hand. The back of the dummy's head and neck slammed hard on the ground. "That's how you do it. If you have any questions you need to let me know. This move is really dangerous and you need to understand it inside and out." When Ally didn't have any questions Asuka repeated the move three more times. It wasn't a move you could perform very slowly due to gravity and only got faster as you got better.

"Alright, I want you to try," Asuka said and reset the dummy.

Ally got into her stance beside the dummy. She knew takedowns that involved jumping and a lot of body movement, but this one seemed a little more complicated than put on. There were a lot of places to mess up in the three simple steps. Ally took a breath, jumped up and latched her legs around the dummy but in reverse. Instead of her outside leg on the front of the hips it was on the back and her inside leg was on the front. She ended up flipping the dummy onto its face.

Asuka shook her head, "No no, you mixed it up. Inside leg on the back of the knees, outside leg on the front of the hips."

Ally nodded and tried again. She got the sides right and wasn't mixed up, but her inside leg didn't quite catch the back of the knees right.

"Again," Asuka commanded.

Ally tried again. The positioning was right, but her placement on the hips was low.

"Do it again. You could've popped someone's knee out like that!" Asuka scolded.

Ally tried again... and again... and again until she was finally getting solid repeats of the proper technique. It was hard work, and with the pressure of it being such a dangerous move it seemed that much harder.

"Okay, I think you're doing well," Asuka said, "Now I want you to practice on a real body."

"What?" Ally said, wiping away the sweat on her forehead.

"You're going to practice the technique on me," Asuka clarified.

"Didn't you say it was really dangerous? That we wouldn't practice on each other?" Ally asked nervously.

"No, I said we would practice on the dummies until you got the hang of it."

"But Aunty Asu-"

"I'm not Aunty here!" Asuka snapped, "Are you doubting my teachings?" She hated having to speak like this, especially to her niece, but it was the only way to keep training so serious. In all honesty speaking like this often times made her feel a bit sick, but she masterfully kept this hidden away as to keep her serious master persona.

"No Sensei Asuka, I'm sorry, I don't doubt you're teachings," Ally said, giving a respectful bow of apology. She hated when her aunt did this, though knew calling her aunt "aunty" or "aunt" in the dojo during training was highly unprofessional and inappropriate, even if it was just them two.

"Don't doubt me, don't doubt your teachings, and don't doubt yourself. Go slow, you don't need to rush at me."

Ally nodded and took several deep breaths in and out. She knew Asuka was tough, tougher than she could ever know, but the thought of performing such a move on her guardian was scary. When Asuka moved into the ready position, Ally got into her stance and performed the move. She discovered it wasn't too much different from practicing on the dummy, only Asuka could react and ease her own fall rather than let her head be smashed into the ground like the dummy's.

"That was good, now keep going," Asuka said. They did this a few more times and Asuka stopped the girl again. "What do you think you can go into once you perform the takedown?"

Ally didn't need much time to think about this as it was pretty obvious for anyone doing Jiu Jitsu, even beginners. "Go into a leg lock or ankle lock."

"Right, but for now just squeeze my ankles for that basic lock, got it?"

So they repeated the move again, and Ally quickly got Asuka into a lock, squeezing her ankles together in a triangle hold. Asuka tapped and Ally released her grip.

"Alright, let's get that in a couple more times."

Ally performed the technique faster than before and successfully performed it again. But on the third attempt, Ally slightly messed up. Her outside leg's placement was a lower than it should've been, closer to the knees than hips. Luckily Asuka knew how to counter her knees from getting popped and she irritably shook her head. "You know not to go fast if you don't need to, you aren't a rookie!" Asuka scolded.

"I know Sensei, I'm sorry," Ally apologized and helped Asuka up.

Asuka adjusted her Gi, "This isn't a game, you know this."

"I know, I'm sorry, Sensei."

Asuka took in a deep breath and scratched the back of her neck. "Alright, we're going to do conditioning for the rest of the day. We'll try again on this technique tomorrow, okay?"

Ally nodded in understanding, though she was thoroughly disappointed in herself for overestimating herself. She couldn't do the move so quick or she could really hurt Asuka. What if Asuka hadn't dodged in time? There was a reason it was banned.

"Double up on the ropes and when you're done we're going to do a bit of live grappling, okay?" As Ally walked away to start the conditioning, Asuka stopped her. "I know it's hard with Kiro around, you're used to being the only disciple. You don't have anything to prove, especially not to me. I'm sorry for not paying as much attention to your training for the past days. I've been letting you do your own training because I trust you. Don't let anything like that get to you, alright? It's negative energy and you aren't a negative person. Understand?" Asuka planted a kiss on her niece's cheek, temporarily breaking their code.

"Alright, I understand," Ally said, feeling slightly relieved Asuka had a sense of how she felt. With that, it was off to the ropes.

Kiro was blown away by the utter force of the mighty clash of kicks. He flew backwards, going straight through the dojo building behind him.

Bakusa held up his guard, as his clothes flapped in the wind created by the two. "You idiots! Get a hold of yourselves, act your own age for once!" He shouted angrily at them.

(later)

Niijima walked into a dark alley, his face and body covered by a fedora and trench coat. He stopped just in front of Shaz (who had agreed to meet him), as he kept his face downward so it would be hidden by the shadows. "I understand you're looking for a certain someone, an old pal of mine, actually." He tried to conceal his voice, but it still had that annoying tone to it. "I already have all the proper strings pulled for you two to meet, and I can tell you exactly where to meet him, but of course..." he paused for dramatic effect. "I'll need something in return." Even in the darkness, his creepy, evil smile could be seen.

"Don't you even think about it, buddy! You beat the crap out of me, and you'll never know! Just follow the plan, my friend, and everything will go just fine!" Niijima laughed, as he reached into his pocket for a smoke bomb, just in case Shaz tried to do anything funny. 'C'mon, c'mon, just go along with it, you fool!' Niijima angrily thought, as he took a slight step back.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(DAYS LATERRRR.)

Kiro and Ally sat on top of the school's roof together at lunch, as Kiro tried his best to dodge Shaz, at least, until he was sure he was ready to face the bully. "You know, you didn't really have to come up here with me." Kiro awkwardly laughed, as he pulled out his bento from his bookbag. He looked down at the various scratches and bruises on his hands and arms. "It's almost been a month since I joined the dojo." Kiro had only just came to the realization, as he looked up at Ally. "I can tell I'm getting stronger each and every day, but,"

"No matter how hard you work, people like you will always be under people like me!" The bully assured him.

"compared to the masters, and even you," Kiro sighed, as he looked down at his unopened bento. "I'm nowhere near your guys' level, and I have no natural talent to help me out. Even now, I'm hiding on a roof top because I'm not strong enough to defeat that Shaz guy." He looked back up at Ally with hopeful eyes. "Do you really think I'll ever become as strong as you guys?" This question had been hovering in Kiro's mind for a while, as most people who entered such sports or arts already had a natural talent for such thing, and if they didn't, then they'd quit before they got squashed by the people who did. He, however, had no natural talent for fighting, and so, was starting from the very bottom. 'An ant couldn't become a lion if he weren't already born one.' Kiro thought with a sigh, he sighed a second time, as he imagined it was something Rekin would probably say to him.

"Of course!" Ally replied, no doubt in her mind about Kiro's abilities. "You've been pushing and pushing yourself and that isn't easy. If anything you have the potential to be greater than all of us. Most of us started training when we were younger than you so it wasn't as bad when we got older. You on the other hand started at sixteen!" Then she thought for a minute, "You're sixteen right? Yeah." She thought about talent for a moment before pulling her lunch out of her bag. She placed a couple fruits into her lap. She didn't feel as hungry right now and knew fruits would give her nice energy. "I don't think what people say is true," Ally said, "about people being born with gifts. Yeah, some people are born with better hearing or seeing, but no one just picks up a violin and can play it like that!" She held a green apple in her hand and tossed it in the air, catching it in her palm before taking a bite. She thought carefully about what she would say next. "When I started training with Shin and Bakusa in reaction timing, like avoiding kicks and punches, I was terrible. I kept getting hit and hit. It took me a long time before I finally got good at evading. Before then, I remember this time Shin roundhoused me in the side of the head. He didn't mean to hurt me, it was an accident, but still, I wasn't good enough." She placed the apple back in her lap and pulled back her hair to reveal her ear. The earlobe was permanently damaged, misshapen and slightly swollen. "I don't really pull my hair back too much because of this. I wasn't good enough so I got hurt. What I'm trying to say is, Kiro, that it takes work to get good at anything, no matter who you are. We all have our flaws and weaknesses but once you improve on them, you'll be as good as gold," she turned to reveal her other ear which was perfectly fine, "See?"

"Oh, wow, I see what you mean now." He took a bite out of his messy meatball sub, as bits of sauce spilled onto the cloth of his bento. "It just seems like I'm moving so slow." Kiro sighed. He appreciated her sharing the story, but even so, it was hard to imagine Ally once had trouble fighting.

Niijima slowly climbed onto the rooftop, via ladder, as he smiled once he located the pair. He clothes were ripped and ragged, and he was covered in dirt. "Kiro, you need to come quick!" He exclaimed, as he tried to catch his breath. "There's a couple of guys down in the Newspaper Club's room! They didn't like the story we were printing, and trashed the entire place! I tried to stop them, but I just wasn't super-strong enough like you and your karate girlfriend!" Even Niijima himself was impressed with his acting skills, as he chuckled to himself on the inside. It really was the perfect plan.

"What!? What do you expect me to do!?" Kiro quickly shot up, accidentally spilling all of his lunch face-down on the rooftop. He didn't feel so bad if he had Ally to back him up, but he almost didn't even want to help Niijima and his friends' out. They were the ones who had been printing all those stories about him.

"Please, Kiro! You're the first person I thought of! I've seen your crazy-strong masters, all you have to do is show them a little kungarate, and they'll be down in no time!" Niijima cried, as he hugged Kiro's legs, looking up at him with puppy dog-like eyes. Niijima had been practicing this whimpering technique for over a decade. "I think they really hurt Saitama!" He continued to lie, as tears began to stream down from his face.

Kiro growled angrily, as he thought for a moment. He looked down at his watch for the time, as he then turned his attention back to Niijima. "If people are really in danger, then I suppose I have no choice but to help your friends." Kiro bravely thought, as he clenched his fists. 'I just hope I don't run into that Iron Grip Shaz guy on the way!' Kiro whimpered in his head, as this was the first time since he had heard about Shaz that he was going to leave himself completely vulnerable by coming out of hiding.

"Quickly, we have no time to waste! The crowd is-," Niijima started to run off, but froze, as he turned to look back at the two. "I mean, my newspaper buddies are waiting for you!" He quickly covered up his slip-up, as he turned back to the matter at hand.

"Right, let's go, then!" Kiro responded, the slip-up going straight over his head, as he followed Niijima with haste.
