Head lowered nearly between his legs near his knees, and constantly reminding himself how much he fucked up. Slew of curse words, yelling to the skies as loud as he could, and nearly losing control to the point where his apartment would be reduced to ash. He was so livid. Not at Cecily. Her words might’ve hurt, but he could never stay too angry at his sister for too long. No, Abraham Rothschild, the son of a democratic politician and a Greek God was angry at himself for letting his words not passing through that part of his brain that decides whether or not it would be a good idea to say it. He didn’t take time to think about what he said. Instead, like his father, he simply did it because he felt like it. No, that’s not true. He didn’t feel like it. Abe just.. “Oh fuck I don’t know! Maybe I’m like you, old man. Maybe you and I really are alike. Or maybe I got too much anger that I don’t know what to deal with.” Abe said. Abe didn’t know who he was talking to. Maybe Zeus. Maybe it was himself. Whoever it was, he didn’t care. It was out there, and he had sttood up. He scanned the roof quite briefly. His bags were still in front of the door. Purple like grapes, and there were three of them. For some reason they gave him some added rage. His teeth gritting, and sparks of similarly-colored lightning began to crackle around him. That’s when he turned around. As soon as his eyes came to the sight of the wall behind the couch, his right hand went flying through it. It was surrounded in his trademark purple lightning. When the fist had connected it, the surge of electricity created a shock throughout the wall, with about three extra feet of wall being destroyed added to the hole that was originally made thanks to his fist. It wasn’t enough to blow a clear hole across to the room next to his, but cracks were surely there in the foundation, and a shaking of sorts was bound to be heard throughout the fourth floor. A few moments passed, and Abe looked at what he did. He stepped back. What did he do? He’s just like Zeus. Only Zeus would destroy something out of anger. No, he can’t be like this. If he doesn’t get a hold of his temper, the next target of his punch might be someone. It might even be Cecily. “NO!” As if a switched had been flicked, Abe knew he had to make things right, no matter what he had to do. Abe pulled out his phone. He didn’t want to waste another moment. Going to his sister’s contact, he started typing.
To: Lightning Empress Cecily, I’m so sorry. Let me make it up to you. Please. After the banquet, come to my dorm. Or I’ll come to yours. I’ll do anything.
He might have never groveled like that before, but this was a special occasion. He was a man who knew when to admit it when he was wrong - and boy was Abe Rothschild so in the wrong. Drastic measures had to be taken to ensure that his sister knew he was sorry. He was willing to do anything. “And I mean anything.” Abe heard a laugh in his mind. Zeus no doubt. He shrugged it off. Abe needed to ready himself for the assembly. So, getting his bags, he went to his room. He would unpack later. He simply wanted to get them out of the way. After that, he left his room, he left his apartment, and would take the stairs as he went towards where the assembly was going to be held at. If he had any luck, he might be able to forget about this morning.
