[@Wick][@Demonic Angel] The kid nearly scared Kat shitless. Spinning around she raised the wooden spoon like it was a club, ready to start swinging. It could be said she was a little on edge. Seeing it was the double-mint twin she lowered the spoon and blew out her breath. "Don't scare me like that kid," she said, not in a mean way. Turning back to the pot, she started stirring again. "Nothing special I'm afraid. Spagettios is the extent of our cuzine this morning." She rubbed her neck, wincing in the process. "My throat feels like someone had it in a vise, but other then that I'm fine," she paused for a moment. It seemed the non-scary one was in control right now, but that could change any second. Kat was still wary of her. "How bout you? You alright?" Kat had to firmly resist the urge to pull Grace away from the kid. As long as the two people in that kids head didn't hurt Grace then there would be no issues. She'd give her a chance. A chance. Matt came in moments later. Kat lifted one eyebrow. "So you're a doctor now?" she asked but in a playful teasing way. Matt seemed to have no problem with the kid, which made Kat relax a little more. "Thanks for the pills. You're right that I'm going to need them. Let everyone know if they're hungry we got Spagettios, or if they want something else there is a burner in here that works for now." When he said they needed to talk later privately Kat tried furiously not the blush. She had worked hard to be a bitch and this man could turn her into a swooning female with a few words. Damn him. Getting a coffee mug, she started scooping out Spagettios. She handed one cup to Erin and picked up Grace, sitting her on the counter and blowing on spoonfuls of the soup to feed her with. Grace, true to form, immediately started putting her fingers in her mouth, getting them dirty and them touching mommy's face, giggling at making mommy's face dirty. Kat smiled indulgently. It was hard to get mad at the little monkey.
