Midori
Despites it regenerating so fast she was still a little ahead of the abyssal. She was able to make a gap in its skin to deploy her tremendous hot lava. It almost immediately regenerated again but at least the lava couldn't be pushed out that quick. She had to follow up her attack with something to make the lava have any effect at all but was unable to think of something and was left mindless on the beast its back. She was one of the only few to have come underneath its skin so this was the chance. Just when she was left with utter disappointment and wanted to fly away again to perhaps do a collabed attack Souta came down from the ceiling and swept away the dead skin on top on the spot Midori had put her lava. Midori balled up her fist in a cheer and wanted to shout that it wasn't gone in vain but she resigned from it knowing it wasn't done yet. Now that it's hard skin and spikes were mostly gone she could attack its inner skin to get through. When she wanted to go at her max Mary stole the spotlight. Mary launched herself on the spot and dug inside. Midori didn't really mind though, she wouldn't get that filthy now. Mary went in quickly and easily but when she did the monster screeched in pain and dropped down from the ceiling. Midori was left in the air with no ground to stand on. Luckily she had wings. She flapped once before her eyes spotted a tentacle she was unable to dodge. Her arm quickly became slightly scaled. She had no time to make her skin hard as she normally could it was just to quick. With full force she took the hit on her arm and was launched backwards at the wall. As she hit the wall blood floated through the air from her mouth. She quickly regained her balanced and flapped her wings. She was bruised and everything holding her hurt arm just above the pained bit. It was blue and thick with blood dripping down from multiple burst pieces of skin. It felt like her arm had fallen off. Tears were gushing down her eyes as her teeth grit together. Just a little bit more. She was starting to get cold, why was that. Midori stumbled over to her hoodie and sunhat and pulled her good arm in the hoodie while holding the broken arm under it. She was starting to see a little bit pale. She wanted to go on but her body clearly resisted. Midori finally started releasing the pain of her arm. She puffed down and sat on the side of the room. This was tiring, she didn't feel well. Midori shivered and suddenly started feeling even weirder. Just random things started filling her mind. Her pupils widened as she stared forward with a agape look on her face. Information was flowing inside of her. Her senses became sharper. It started to hurt, not only her brain but also her hearing, eyes and smell. Midori's body couldn't take it anymore. She tilted her head to the side and threw up right next to her. She heard a faint voice that they would be going away from here. They likely had the same thing as her. Midori tried standing up but her feet were tired. She had to get out somehow, wings pierced through her jacket as her body was hanging from them. Now to not hit anything. It went rather smooth the flying but she couldn't maintain it. When she passed through a few doors her altitude suddenly dropped making her body fall to the ground. Her wings went in again as her body rolled on further for a few more feet. Eventually she passed out, her lifeless body lying on the cold ground.
