That could be a good setup for what drew people there, and then a plot happens tying all of the participants together as they are stuck in this strange multiverse world as the portals to their home worlds vanish. Or we could just leave it with your description for the foreseeable future. Get characters to know each other. I think I'd have a blast having Evvie crash a fancy dinner party and some uptight villain guy gets super pissed and tries to kill her later over it. Only their fight ruins his tuxedo again. XD I'll have this idea for my own multiverse webcomic (if I ever start it up) if it isn't used here (or I could always copy my own ideas for that webcomic anyways).

It could even be a casual roleplay and, when a fight comes up, link the fight into the arena thread handling the fight.
