Just who the heck did this kid think he was? Did he have any idea who he was talking to? "Look kid I ain't got time for your stupidity. I finally got a lead so need to go find my fri-disciples." Sora quickly corrected himself. This kid was a bother and he had his own job to finish, he hadn't the time to help some hotshot find a job....Wait. That could work. "Unless you want in on my job. It's a hassle even for me, so I doubt you can handle it." Sora smirked at Verrick before turning his back on the younger mage "So just forget I said anything. I'm sure you can find a mission more about your level at a nearby tavern or community board. Like finding a lost kitten or something." He added over his shoulder before walking off slowly. The pace at which he walked was rather deliberate, almost mockingly. Well Sora was kinda mocking Verrick anyway. There was no 'almost' about it.
Jasmine Lockwood

[@Caits] Jasmine didn't quite understand at first what Penny meant. However it didn't take her long to realise what she had meant. She wanted her to review her memories and try to piece together what was missing? Or by running through them it might jog something new? Or maybe her memories were simply fragmented, and thus by thinking about them she could put them in the right order? She had to admit there were a few memory sequences which didn't make much sense. Wait. Now that she thought about it... "...The arguing wasn't near Crocus. It had happened in a smaller town on the way here, to the west. I don't remember it's name, nor do I think I learnt it anyway. My parents were haggling with someone over a purchase I believe. But my encounter with the Moth and Butterfly was just outside the city. At least a day had passed between those events." Jasmine mumbled thoughtfully as the details seem to be just popping into her head the more she thought about it. "I remember being hungry when I met them, and afraid. Of what I'm not sure. I mean they were pretty terrifying to look at." Jasmine rubbed her temples as she tried to think about it....forcing memories to the surface was a cause for headaches it would seem. "Argh...it hurts my head thinking about it."
Ashlyn Johnson

[@Zarkun][@hatakekuro][@oblivion666][@liferusher][@Caits][@Raijinslayer][@Lugubrious] Ash didn't need to be told twice. Nodding her head in agreement at Harper's request, Ashlyn pointed her free hand towards the corpse but not before making a quick cross gesture and mumbling rest in peace softly under her breath. "Flames of hell I call thee to burn my enemies. Flames of the lord I call thee to punish these sinners." As Ash mumbled her spell a blue flame ran up her arm and her fist burst into a large white flame. The two now connected before being forming a ball of bluey-white flames. Once it reached the size of her fist she launched it at the corpse and watched as it quickly caught fire upon contact. The fire didn't spread much from there however as Ash simply manipulated any loose flames back onto the corpse. It didn't take long for it burn away and leave a pile of ashes and bones. The fire had however lit the place up a little more as a look of disgust crossed her face....she was done with this place already. Her worst fears had been confirmed, these people were surely beyond saving. She hadn't the heart to tell that to Harper however as she nodded in agreement at what the ninja had to say. "The sooner we get back the better....I have a bad feeling about this place." Ash commented as she frowned heavily. She had always trusted her gut, and now was no different. This place was just setting off alarm bells left, right and center.
