I think it would mean Steven dying. I was wondering if he actually does die. Rose comes back and weeps at the lost of her son which then heal and or saves Steven. He would be a normal human maybe. Grow up with Connie or maybe she would choose to be a part of her son once more since he might not be able to live without a gem. So we get to see her briefly and then it is back to how it was. Idk
