Leon had to surpress a sigh when Rose asked him about whether or not his mother taught him not to run while holding a knife. Well, yeah, obviously his mother did tell him to not run with sharp objects like any good parent aught to. she also told him to not run across the street, not to run while carrying heavy objects and not to talk to strangers; none of which are all that important when being chased by psychos. Leon didn't feel like now was the time to say anything about that at the moment though. The girl then made another comment, asking about if he could handle a firearm. Sadly, he had no experience with guns other than 'don't look into open end', 'don't point at self and/or people/things you like' and 'pull trigger to release speedy metaly death', so guns were pretty much out. Not to mention the fact that they were already overburdened as things were. On the other hand, it wasn't like he was all that much better with knives either... Either way, it was a worry for later; again, getting away in one piece was the first priority. When Rose told Leon to pull on the count of three, he nodded to let her know that he heard her. "Two...," he counted in unison with the girl, starting at 'two' due to having missed the 'one. "...Three!" With that, he pulled on the chain with all his might, opening the door. "Quick, go go go!," Leon called out, motioning Rose to go through the door. At this point, he made no attempt to keep his voice down anymore. After all, if 'GM' didn't hear the metal door opening, he wasn't going to hear Leon's voice either. ...As if on cue, the other door leading back to the cafetaria simply disappeared, revealing a batshit insane-looking GM. Next to him stood some kind of malnourished wolflike beast. "Oh, shit, RUN!," Leon yelled, dashing through the door after Rose as fast as he could -- which, considering the fact he was carrying an heavy and imbalanced bag around, wasn't all that fast, certainly not fast enough to outrun the beast chasing them. ((Tiny bit of Godmodding here; With Rose being both closer to the door (I think) and not weighted down by a heavy bag, it only makes sense for her to be in front.))
