However, the only characteristic all Emeralds truly share is that they are uncharacteristic. For this reason, and for their general status as crazy unpredictable lab rats, Emeralds are sort of a species of outcasts, and tend to be used in ways that could be seen as inhumane if it were on a [i]real[/i] gem(what with the gem caste system and all). In short, they could probably be groomed to be anything from a diplomat to a guard dog. However, if left to their own devices, they either become broken(not literally) piles of insanity, or more like OC Emerald. More of their own person. [/hider]
