Eve wasn't sure, but she thought she might be just a little bit in shock. Everything had happened so fast, between the letter and new people, gems and wolf fights, so really she didn't find it surprising that she'd had nothing to say. When the wolf hadn't pounced on her being finally out for the count, she had honestly frozen up, and had another beastie come along she would have been very dead. Slowly, while the others conversed with yet another new person, another girl by the looks of it, Eve simply picked herself up, dusted herself off and joined the edge of the group, intertwining her gloved fingers in front of her and saying nothing at all.
