Okay people, I'm up and already thinking about relations.

[@McHaggis] - It seems to me that Debra is the kind of girl Emily would be good friends with. Both characters are tomboys, but Debra seems more reserved in her behavior, so Emily could be a kind of bad influence on her, pushing her into unruly behavior.

[@DeadBeatWalking] - Cecil definitely seems to be a kind of boy Emily would be attracted to. Whether that is reciprocated is of course another thing.

Cecil brother's Marcel is roughly the same age as Emily's brother Eddie. Since Eddie used to do a bit of criminal stuff and Cecil seems to have those kind of predilections, it seems possible to me that they ran together at some point.

General idea: if anyone from the group is bullied, it is possible that Emily tried to protect him or her. For the boys being protected by a girl is of course a source of further embarassment, and it is important to remember that although she would not never admit it, she has a bit of bully in herself. So she might protect you, but elbow you and/or call you a shithead the second you annoy her.
