Don't think that's what Cyclone meant xP
The god of Darkness (Shadows), Julkolfyr, is currently imprisoned by Vestec. He is an NPC and will most likely continue as such. Your best bet is to create a new character altogether, a demigod of darkness or pain or any such thing.

[@Cyclone] I agree with you regarding CKII, but I don't think the strategic element is really its focus: there's a great amount of emphasis on the roleplay aspect. You know, keeping those damn dukes and whatnots in line, not keeping armies raised forever. Or if you start off as a duke or lower tier ruler, working out how to usurp the damn throne through a delicate web of marriages, assassinations and war
