[@Cyclone] I agree with you regarding CKII, but I don't think the strategic element is really its focus: there's a great amount of emphasis on the roleplay aspect. You know, keeping those damn dukes and whatnots in line, not keeping armies raised forever. Or if you start off as a duke or lower tier ruler, working out how to usurp the damn throne through a delicate web of marriages, assassinations and war
Oh you're completely right. The RP element is fun in a different sort of way, but after playing CK2 for a few months it just lacks the luster that it once had to me. I've had many shenanigans and seen much of the hilarious stuff. EU's strategic depth gives it more replayability for me.
So just curious.. How is my Profile anyway.. Does it need to be worked on or is it good ?. Just wondering I may or may not have spent about 4 hours watching Harry potter and Deadthly Hollows on Tv Also I have a idea what my first post will be :P
Well, the first thing that needs to be looked at is your Domain(Portfolio). The OP explains that so suffice to say that simply putting 'nightmares' down isn't enough. If you're lacking ideas, Nightmares(Fear) or something similar would be a good place to start. I noticed numerous grammar issues in the CS as well. While a few aren't a big deal, when there's a bunch it gets distracting. Some people here on the OoC were talking about a website called Grammarly that will point out mistakes, so if you want you could try copying and pasting your sheet onto it to spot any problems. I don't mean to be pretentious (and certainly not insulting) but I'll point out that the expectation here is that the writing will be of a Mid/High Casual level. Just look at some of the posts on the IC and OOC, and make sure you're not biting off more than you can chew.
