Sophia Danvers
[@Heckno12] [@fer1323] [@OtomostheCrazy] "Yeah..." Sophia replied. "It-It's nothing. I'm fine." It was a relief that Rheese hadn't inquired further, at least... or found the episode off-putting. And he'd congratulated her on the victory. "Like I said, that fight was almost dull, it was so easy." Somehow, Rheese's words didn't bring as much reassurance as they should have. She squinted against the glaring lights in the Pokemon centre. Between the jet lag, the showing off and the conversation just now, her headache had flared up. No! I have to get stronger! she chided herself. She knew she just needed a good night's sleep, but still... Getting tired this quickly? Some of the people back home would laugh. Oh, so now Oscar seemed to think himself quite the philosopher... Sophia shook her head as she listened to him. Once more, she remembered his stinging comment about the party trick. She could only imagine what her mother would say about her failure to impress people. After all, according to her family, Sophia was more than average. Much, much more. And she'd have to make sure people recognised that. They'd have expectations. "Oh, give it a rest, Oscar," she snapped. The comment came out even harsher than she'd meant it to. She looked around at the other trainers. "Come on. Let's see who can be the first to get another Pokemon!" Surely it would be her. She could do this. She could do this easily. As she headed to leave, though, the room spun, and she found herself leaning against the wall for support. No, she wasn't going to rest now, and risk being the last of the group to get a second Pokemon. First things first. She just hoped nobody had already beaten her to it.
