[@Emma] Hi, I am interested in joining this. I wanted to know if I could make a light elf, since elves are a type of fae. This is the information I found on light elves: According to Mythology Wikia,
Elves are creatures of Norse mythology. The elves were originally imagined as a race of minor nature and fertility gods, who are often pictured as youthful-seeming men and women of great beauty, living in forests and underground places, like caves, or in wells and springs. They have been portrayed to be long-lived or immortal and as beings of magical powers. In Norse paganism, Light elves were beautiful creatures and were considered to be “guardian angels”. The god Freyr, were the ruler of Alfheim, the home of the light elves. In terms of hierarchy, Light elves were minor gods of nature and fertility; they could help or hinder, humans with their knowledge of magical powers. They also often delivered an inspiration to art or music.
According to Marvel Wikia,
Light elves possess superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, and reflexes. They all possess a vulnerability to iron.
According to LOTR Wikia,
Elves are very similar to Men. Unlike Men, however, they are immortal, in that their bodies do not age once they have reached maturity, so that they do not seem to become elderly or die of old age. They can be killed by physical injury however, or they may come to death from wasting away if after long eons of life they lose the will to live. Elves come of age at around fifty years old. They have far better vision and hearing than Men. They also have skills and abilities beyond what is possible for Men, and many can craft seemingly magical objects. Elves possess ethereal grace and various powers. Elves are light of foot, can travel long distances without leaving tracks, and often can walk lightly across snow where the boots of Men would sink. They do not require sleep, but are able to enter a waking meditative state to regain their strength
They mature mentally at a much faster rate than mortals (humans) while physically maturing much slower. Puberty is almost complete by age 50, though they are not considered full grown until 100. Once fully grown, they will no longer show any signs of physical aging. With that said, they will not die through natural causes (old age, illness, or disease) due to a natural resistance towards these factors; however, they can die in battle.
