❀ Rosalina Idwal ❀
"I'd do anything to feel your warmth again." ❀ [@Zarkun] ❀ Quick and to the point; this man was already making it into Rosalina's good books. From his description of the man, she already knew who it was he was looking for. Yes, no one would forget a man with such prominent features such as a missing hand and an eye patch. "Yes, my Knights and I successfully apprehended him quite some time ago". Rosalina paused, giving the man a perplexed look. "He was judged and sentenced accordingly and now works under me as a Rune Knight. Unfortunately I can't go around giving strangers personal details or whereabouts of the Knights or where they are to be stationed". Rosalina stopped to consider why this man would be interested in finding one of her Knights. She addressed him bluntly. "You wish to settle a past grudge, I assume?" Over the years, Rosalina had heard her fair share of individuals seeking out their own means of vigilante justice. In a way she understood, the old council was easily swayed by outside influences when dealing with certain criminals of a high profile. However the man this stranger sought was no such person. He was just a bandit that the council saw fit to send to Rosalina. She had assumed he'd done some morally reprehensible things, but his service to the Knights was infallible. "Leave it be," She began, staring down the man with a stern expression. "Whatever it is you seek this man for, leave it be. He has made a new life for himself with the Knights. We can't change the past, but nobody deserves to be haunted by it". Rosalina couldn't tell if she was talking for her comrade or herself. In the last day she had been forced to remember the moment all those years ago when her perfect world shattered. Her heart ached and she wanted nothing more to forget. No doubt the man Mako sought had done things he wished to forget. Rosalina knew the suffering her past actions brought her in the deepest hours of the night and she wouldn't wish that upon anyone.
♫ Isabella and Bullet ☠
"Everyone who should have cared about me didn't. You've always been the first." ♫ [@Zarkun] ☠ Bullet remained silent as the three of them departed to the food court. Isabella had been ecstatic about Jane's idea, starting to feel her energy slumping towards the late afternoon. Their walk was filled with the sound of Isabella fussing over Jane for not eating breakfast. "You're in the guild with us now, so don't think you can get away with skipping breakfast. While we were on the road on our last mission Bullet made the most amazing beef stew. You must make it for Jane one day, Bullet." Her statement was met with silence as Bullet stared off into the distance, feeling a little embarrassed about his conversation with Jane. He was pulled out of his daydream by a quick punch in the arm from his best friend. He barely flinched at her flimsy excuse for a punch, smiling arrogantly instead. "Sure, yeah. I'm a pretty good cook, so I'll have to show off my expertise to Jane some day." He tried to play it off as if he hadn't said anything earlier, which only made him feel guilty. Isabella stared at him for a moment with a concerned look, able to tell something was wrong. Rather than alarming Jane, she opted to set it aside for now and address her friend in private about it. Turning to the various stalls, she quizzically beamed at Jane. "I simply cannot decide! What should we start with? I don't want to fill up at one place so let's pace ourselves."
