Mako Kurohiko, Exiled Warrior|Crocus City
[@Leslie Hall] "Yes, my Knights and I successfully apprehended him quite some time ago". Rosalina paused, giving the Mako a perplexed look, one he could understand, as he hadn't yet given his reason for looking for him. "He was judged and sentenced accordingly and now works under me as a Rune Knight. Unfortunately I can't go around giving strangers personal details or whereabouts of the Knights or where they are to be stationed". She stopped for a moment and seemed to be thinking. Mako waiting, knowing full well what she was thinking about and the semi-correct conclusion she was going to come to. "You wish to settle a past grudge, I assume?" Mako shook his head, indicating the most obvious part of his tattoo. "Far from it, Miss Idwal. I am a man of Isval, member of the Kurohiko family. To seek him out only to settle a grudge easier settled by a card game or something of the like is ridiculous even by our standards." However, it would seem she didn't hear him as she continued. "Leave it be," She began, staring down at Mako with a stern expression the young Isval man found to be quite comical. "Whatever it is you seek this man for, leave it be. He has made a new life for himself with the Knights. We can't change the past, but nobody deserves to be haunted by it". Mako shook his head, ready to argue his point or fight if he had to. "I am afraid I cannot do that, Miss Idwal. And it is...not recommended you stand between an Isval man and his path to regain his honor. Five years ago, he killed a diplomat in my charge from Isval on the Fiore side of the border. Because I failed to protect the man as was my charge, in order to reclaim my honor, I must kill the man who killed my charge." He does nothing to betray his movements, as he hadn't moved from his casual stance, but he tensed for some reason. "Fiore and Isval, despite the loss of this diplomat, are on good terms with each other as trade partners and recognize the cultural differences between them. During my search for this man, a member of another family from Isval, one Sadako Arakida if memory serves, had a similar matter. Fiore's royal family acknowledged her right to seek out the man who'd taken her honor. And I now exercise mine."
Jane Addeson|Mall Food Court
[@Leslie Hall] Bullet remained silent as the three of them departed to the food court. Isabella had been ecstatic about Jane's idea, starting to feel her energy slumping towards the late afternoon. Their walk was filled with the sound of Isabella fussing over Jane for not eating breakfast and suddenly the young energy blade mage was regretting bringing it up. After all, it wasn't as if she did it all the time, and it wasn't like she'd die if she did it that one day. "You're in the guild with us now, so don't think you can get away with skipping breakfast. While we were on the road on our last mission Bullet made the most amazing beef stew. You must make it for Jane one day, Bullet." Jane turned to see Bullet's face at that comment, but noticed he was lost in space after their brief conversation. She started to say something, but Isabella punched his arm when encouraged a response. "Sure, yeah. I'm a pretty good cook, so I'll have to show off my expertise to Jane some day." Jane giggled and pulled her hilt free from it's place on it's back, spinning it expertly in her hand. "You might have some competition there. I've been told I make a mean curry." However, before any response could be made by Bullet or Isabella, they reached the court. Turning to the various stalls, Isabella quizzically beamed at Jane. "I simply cannot decide! What should we start with? I don't want to fill up at one place so let's pace ourselves." To be honest, neither could Jane, but she didn't want to hit all of the stalls, just one place was fine with her. Still, she decided to humor Isabella's idea. "Why don't we start at some place that has something you haven't tried yet? I mean, living on the lamb makes for rare opportunities to eat at places like this, so I haven't had any of it."
