@OtomostheCrazy Hmm, is that a slightly different side to Alexis I see? And her Snorunt cracks me up.

At some point, Alexis and Sophia should battle. Whoever won, the other would never hear the end of it.

On the subject of full teams...

@Heckno12 How are Pokemon teams going to work? Most of us claimed at least six Pokemon, but I take it we're going to have more than that. I never called Liepard, but I got a Purrloin, and Otomos made several claims. Besides, it's unlikely each person is going to travel through the entire region with just six Pokemon.

So... How are we going to represent our current teams in our character sheets while still keeping track of the other Pokemon we have?

@fer1323 Ok, thanks. I don't mind if people get Pokemon I've called. In fact, I like seeing how people write the same Pokemon differently.

@fer1323 It's funny you say that because when I first asked Heckno12 about the RP, I was debating between Sophia and a Fighting-themed trainer. I tend to base my Pokemon characters on trainer classes, so this chara would have essentially been a battle girl. She'd have started with a Riolu.

@fer1323 Hm, why?

Edit: The typically high Attack stat, right? Then again, Fighting type got a weakness to Fairy in Gen 6.

@LuckyBlackCatfighting type is one of the few that has alot of pokemon with a second typing.
For example:
Lucario: steel/fightinh
Blaziken:fire/fighting
Gallade: psychic/fighting
heracross: bug/fighting
Breloom: grass/fighting
Poliwrath: water/fighting

With this kind of team, you apply for gym leader or a member of the elite four. You can exploit stab and weaknesses.

@fer1323 Ah, yes... I didn't realise how many there were. Type variation is something people go for anyway though.

I might bring the character into something else and keep things toned down, she'd have some pure Fighting Pokemon and a few other types anyway, like Sophia's called team has many Psychic types but also has others.

Personality wise she'd be much more tolerable than Sophia, but I'm glad I made my choice. Heckno12 said Sophia would be "a very interesting character once things hit the fan"... I'm intrigued as to what he means.

@LuckyBlackCat Oscar is ths sage archetype atm but I think in the furtue, I might spice things up a bit later. When things get hectic, Oscar will do interesting things.

To be fair, in the anime, the pokemon aren't limited to just using certain attacks, and the moves actually have an effect on the field. It's why I like the anime so much. Can you imagine having to fight Valerie like in the anime? It'd be both awesome and a nightmare.

Y'know it's actually funny you mention field effects. I've been replaying Pokemon Reborn and they do just that. (Granted I usually have to use Earthquake to get rid of them)
