[@TheMinorFall]  As a caution, if he says something about preselecting Amune, they will call him on it -- he’s never seen her, as far as they know.  He’s not seen any of the students.  And he’d have to be spying on them in town or something because there definitely wasn’t any time when they had a trip for assessment, or whatever.  Then again, he might have requested files from a royal archive, or something.  I’m sure family trees are recorded, as well as other things.  Amune might be marked as...not quite a charity case, but certainly special circumstances.  Plus if there’s record of what sort of magic people have, that might have drawn his interest.  ^.^;; I’m probably overthinking it.  <.<
