Wes Gusto| Crocus, Café
[@Lmpkio][@Caits] So what is it? Is that just an excuse? Or are you ashamed of something you have done?" Michael seemed to have found a hidden strength, not turning away, as he stared at Wes. Nor did he seem to care that he was probably angering Wes. "I-I think that's enough," she says towards the young man as he tries to defuse any growing feelings amongst them, "Please excuse him Wes-san. I suppose there are some strong feelings that have some aftershocks still attached you know?" "I'm not a child, so please don't treat me like I am" Michael said softly, looking to Samir briefly, "there's been dark guild activity for years. He isn't the instigator for the attacks on ligjt guilds. They attack because they don't care" he looked back to Wes, to see what he would say or do. Wes was becoming upset by how Michael acted, but he could understand what Michael was saying. But Wes still didn’t like the idea that he was part of an event that he didn’t want to be involved in. Leaning forward, Wes’s eyes connected with Michael’s stare. ”I rather not have my name, my identity, be used as an additional excuse or reason to resort to violence.” Although he was upset inside, he couldn’t really show the two had just met each other. But at the same time, he couldn’t help but remember how his old teacher, the man that thought him his magic, framed him for a crime that he didn’t do. ”I don’t condone violence that could have been avoided. I could understand the sense of violence being used as self defense or for a greater a good, but I still worry about the consequences. When any difficult or dangerous situation arrives, I always prefer to try and risk the pacifist route. Any other guild might have fought the corrupted Council, but I would still wish that they could have resolved the problem through little to no violence. It may be a false hope and unrealistic to believe everything could be solved without violence in the world that we live in. But that is the world that I wish could be real or at least imagine could happen in the far distance future.” Wes was going to wait to see anyone had anything to say until he sensed a sudden burst of magical power coming from the eastern part of the city. He rushed up as he was curious about this magic, slowly began to stepped away from the table. ”You two felt that? We… I should see what that was.” He said as he shivered at the thought of what that power was.
Frye Gauss| Eastern Part of Crocus
[@hatakekuro][@Lmpkio] Before he could turn around and walk away, the Council woman spoke up and threw some needles towards Frye. While Frye’s right index finger was still pointed out controlling the ball of earth in the sky. A simple fool, huh As he was about try to stop the needles’ path towards him as they quickly approached him, they decided to split off again. He wished he could swat them away as they flew around like flies, but he wasn’t in the mood of getting stung by one. Instead of trying predict the needles movement to stop them, he decided to stop everything else around him. In a quick motion, Frye raised his left hand up to his, during that moment everything in the surrounding area felt lighter. But just as he quickly raised his hand, he swung it down as fast by a few inches and the gravity became incredibly heavy that the needles feel straight into the ground. The gravity was strong enough that the surrounding buildings instantly collapsed from the intense force of the gravity and the ground fractured more and eventually into a growing crater as his hand slowly descended down. Although he was in the center of the intense gravity, he wasn’t phase by it as he floated in the same place. Seeing as this woman didn’t care about what he said early, Frye bent his right index finger down to send the ball of earth with the captive civilians crashing down. But he didn’t feel anything from where the spherical earth should be. He looked up to see that it somehow vanished. Thanks to Saya’s distraction, Grane was able to teleport the civilians that were trapped in the ball of earth to a safer location. Frye gritted his teeth with annoyance and decided to just crush the fallen people near death. But before he could make a downward movement with his hand, Frye could sense Grane teleport behind him. As Grane was about to try nullifying the area of magic and prevent Frye from using his magic, Frye was fast enough to prevent Grane from doing anything by jerking his elbow back to create an intense force of gravity to send the Council member flying back away from him. But Grane would only teleport back behind Frye again to finish his nullification magic. The intense gravity that caused the crater reverted back to normal and Frye soon began to fall from where he was floating. Once his feet landed on the ground, Grane was about to push Frye to the ground with a jab across the face. Planetary Force Series, Intensified Assault. With a smirk, Frye was able to stand his ground against the lizardman by meeting the jab with his own fist. Each attack and block against Grane was all being enhanced with an intense amount of extra force that was more than enough against the Council member’s own attack. That and his increased movement increased allowed Fyre to do some dodges that made it difficult for Grane to land most of his attacks while the added speed made it easier for Frye to attack Grane before the lizardman could do anything to stop him. It was surprising to see a wizard be able to still use their magic in a field that was nullifying magic. But Frye had something that he carried for these situations that would be annoying to deal with if he was actually nullified. The jacket duster that Frye wore had runes engraved inside that protected him from being nullified. But the protection only affected wearer’s body and not the surrounding from being nullified. The two continued their fight, but things weren’t looking good for Grane. The nullification field that he placed in the area also affected him, making it difficult for him to use any magic to going against Frye’s speed as he moved around Grane and attacked with great force. But Grane was still glad that Frye's magic only affected Frye body and not around outside his body. Without the nullification field, Frye would of been far to dangerous to handle alone. While they fought, Grane allowed the nullification field to shrink over time and hoped this would allow enough time for Saya to restrain Frye.
