As far as deciding between the outcomes for characters and events, I'm on-board with everyone else. I've never really liked the idea of rolling dice to determine outcomes, however, it's fine to generate statistics for battles, that's the only purpose I see fit for it. Such as determining which army has more people, and which one suffers the most losses, other than that, I don't see a need for it. I like the idea of a discussion, as it would enable us to produce a more rich story-telling experience. I've always been attracted to that side of role playing, so to speak. That's my two cents at least.
