This maelstrom of magical energy has a prismatic spray effect to those that get caught in its wake. 
Deep in the center of a never ceasing vortex of wind is the mad mage gnome Gilthren. He became the first gnome to achieve immortality by transferring his soul into a mechanical golemn. (if only he had done it perfectly..)
