Myah...? A rumor in the District is like a tiny spark on a hot, windy day, right straight in the middle of Californian forested land. And as much as it sounds typical to use wildfire as a comparison, it's not really far from the truth. Any piece of news, no matter how strange it is, travels quick in the small confines of this piece of city. It's quick for any ear to catch wind on stories that would normally be regarded as plain bull outside, and it's unusually easy for anyone to believe it within here. It's commonly known that a strange figure, often surrounded by an atmosphere of dread in encounters and, on occasion, leaving behind a mess of crumpled papers with disturbing illustrations in its wake, roams the streets of the District. An onryo haunt? Hm, hm. Scary, scary~ This strange figure is often seen as a shadow roaming around an empty alley, but sometimes, it's full visage could be seen to those unfortunate enough to witness it. Could it be me? Actual eyewitnesses to a full encounter, however, were often caught off-guard and were too overtaken by a trembling, tensed sensation to describe in detail what they had undergone. Some felt a strange sense of familiarity, but are very well tensed up in fear to even try to figure it out. Huh, that's not it. Some say it is a lone spirit of evil. Or is it...? Others say it is merely but a helpless ghost, wanting to find a way out. Or is it not...? And there are those that say it might even be someone you could simply see in plain daylight like most others, perhaps simply having their own cycles of oddity sometimes. Karu thinks they're just crazy. . . . What do you think? But the umbrella did not reply.
