Personality: Psychologically, DaFei has the mental capacity of a preteen child and the maturity level roughly equivalent of an autistic child of an even younger age group. She possesses childlike innocence with behavior to match in spite her appearance being that of an older woman with animal characteristics. Due to her appearance, she believes she should act more maturely, making conceited efforts to presenting herself as older and more mature often. When she loses composure, she takes on more animal like traits. Anger may cause her to growl; fear may cause her to release a high-pitched, bird-like screech; and happiness may cause her to wag her tails. Due to the conflicting aspects of the different aninals she is composed of, Dafei also goes through shifting periods of low energy to hyperactivity, and may act jittery from time to time regardless of diet.

History: DaFei was the pet of a minor deity, Douma Mei, who ruled over a piece of the heavens, charged with watching over a particular part of the human realm. In particular, the oceans just beyond Namchon. Douma was originally known as the protector of the bay area, patron to sailors, merchants, and fishermen alike. In olden days, the area was fairly calm. The creatures were left alone and the strongest survived, though fish, eels, crabs, and the like had little ambition and did little crime. Whenever a sea monster popped up, it was quickly dealt with. As the centuries went by, humans settled, creating the city of Namchon. Douma was the name given to the goddess who aided those who sailed along her waters, making sure they returned to port safely. For many centuries, she was hailed as a good goddess. Due to the natural calm of the area, however, Douma had little to do with the safety of the village. Needless to say, Douma had gotten complacent in her duties.

As Namchon grew into a city, so did crime in the city. The gods, not caring much for the petty affairs of humans, turned a blind eye toward this. The people, however, had eventually stopped revering Douma as a goddess. Her temples were left to collect dust and rot; some refurbished into temples for other local deities or even made into shrines for entirely different religions. In the span of a millennium, as the city grew, Douma Mei changed from a protector goddess to the patron of pirates. Piracy had grown rampant in Namchon. Still, she did not care.

The reign of Anjou, however, brought with it its own challenges. The gods looked down upon the earth and definitely saw it was a problem. Many of them did in fact intervene. It was when Anjou's influence spread to Namchon that the goddess decided that she would take matters into her own hands. By then, it had been a long while since she had used her powers for anything apart from slacking. She needed to keep her own territory safe as well, and thus was unable to leave and deal with the problem personally. For the first time, Douma had created an avatar, and DaFei was born.

Douma had the power to combine characteristics of different creatures, herself being a multifaceted deity. Dafei was thus created using the bodies of different creatures which Douma believed would help her on her quest. However, these animals were all haphazardly picked, Douma too unfamiliar with the changed ecosystem after so many years, picking from it various different animals from the city. She had chosen the crow and the hound believing them to be majestic enough creatures with killer enough instinct. In order to make it more well-rounded, so she believed, Douma added in some aspects of humanity.

Skills:
[indent]Tracking: Gifted with the seeing, hearing, and smell of both the dog and the crow; Dafei is capable of tracking scents for long distances. This is more specialized for finding food than people, however.

Disabilities:
[indent]Monolingual: While the Dafei's master was capable of speaking to mortals regardless of language and the people of Namchon being normally multilingual due to it being a port city, Dafei is distinctly incapable of speaking any language other than a particular dialect originating in Namchon.

Powers:
[indent]Flight: With two sets of wings, Dafei is easily capable of flight at up to 32 miles per hour given she's not tired, though normally only flies up to 25 miles per hour, sometimes even slower depending on her mood.
Stomach: Dafei can and will often eat foods normally deemed unsafe for human consumption. Because of this, she has what can only be described as dog-breath.
