At the moment anyone can join the battle with only two characters, but you can build as many as you want and have them be on the reserves. There'll be ways to use them without waiting for the next battle. We, will elaborate on the rules on the post that week open the next battle.

Probably it'll be up at most tomorrow.

Hmmm... if you got the green light, then you must be ok. I just wonder why I was left away from this decision? But I won't argue over anything, I'll read your Cs later and give my thoughts on it, though.
