[@Shin] Here's my character again:

PRINCIPALITY OF REMONI - MINISTRY OF DEFENSE

CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENT
Five (5) Digit MOD Identification Number: 00017. Name: Itsuko Kanzaki. Callsign: Tiger. Gender: Female. Age: 16 years. Height: 160 cm. Weight: 54 kg. Country of Origin: Shipan (Presumed). Appearance:

Faceless Type: B. Bio:
- Background, Prior to Service: There are little recorded data about 00017's life prior to enlistment, even her own memories of that time seen to be faulty, most likely a symptom of PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). The events that triggered such a drastic response are unknown, despite several attempts at psychological therapies. Her first contact with military forces was with a Faceless that had bailed out after her plane was struck down near the remnants of Shipan. 00017 was found by the pilot, along with a number of other --presumed orphaned-- children, inhabiting the ruins of a city that had been decimated by airstrikes. They helped the pilot survive, while effectively stranded behind enemy lines, until rescue could arrive. 00017 had taken some affecting towards the pilot and chose to undergo the FTMAP out of her own volition. The other children who did not chose to enlist where sent to refugee camps, or dealt with according to standard procedures. - Background, During Service: 00017 has been deployed in a number of successful missions ever since he has been put in active service. Her most prominent specialties are close air support and naval based operations however, 00017's air engagement records, show that she's also a very skilled dogfighter, taking advantage of her choice plane's super-maneuverability and high speed features as well as enhanced weapons systems to devastating effects. Overall, 00017 can be considered a true multirole fighter pilot. The largest engagement to which 00017 has been deployed up to this date was the battle of the Granado Canal. 00017 sunk the Garibaldi, a Satean frigate, with a direct impact from an anti-ship missile to the ship's stern. The missile was delivered in a very-low altitude, high-speed bypass, overcoming the ship's defenses with a risky but effective maneuver. This, and 00017's other brash tactics, has earned her a nickname among other pilots (mostly non-Faceless ones), the "Rampaging" Tiger. The subject has undergone advanced endurance, survival and personal defense training, and is considered apt for solo missions. Estimated Kill Count: 03 CAUs, 01 ship, 17+ airborne targets, 50+ ground targets, 00 non-combatants. - Psychological Profile: 00017 displays typical symptoms of PTSD, with periods of depression followed by periods of great excitement. 00017 has shown a strong sense of individuality, requesting that she were allowed to keep a non-standard hairstyle as a reward for her successive achievements, instead of a promotion. 00017 has also shown maverick behavior during combat, relying on brash tactics and unconventional solutions to overcome the opposition.
Specialization: Fighter Aircraft. Name of Machine: Su-37B "Flanker-G", Carrier enabled, multirole version of the Su-37. Machine's Flyby Picture:

Profile: The Flanker G has undergone significant refitting from its base model, the Su-37, to perform reliably on naval operations as well as close air support/bombing missions, the biggest tactical advantage of fighter jets over CAUs. 00017's plane has seen a number of successful deployments, without suffering significant damage in over 13 sorties, despite the individual's known daredevil tendencies. 00017's plane has been further modified with the addition of Azimuthal launch pods for the main launchers as well as an improved rear radar system, granting it unrivaled dogfighting prowess. Modifications: Azimuthal launching pods (can fire missiles, or rockets at any angle, including directly behind)x2, improved rear radar, reinforced airframe. Personal Color Scheme: Despite the subject's strong drive for individuality, she has opted for the standard issue camouflage. Apparently, she believes that it looks "cool enough" that way. OATH: I, A FACELESS PILOT, SWEAR UNDYING LOYALTY TO THE PRINCIPALITY OF REMONI, I DECLARE THAT I WILL ALWAYS FIGHT FOR HER, HER PEOPLE, HER GOALS, I AM ENSURED CERTAIN RIGHTS AND DUTIES AS A FACELESS PILOT AND I WILL ALWAYS ACCOMPLISH THESE DUTIES WITHOUT QUESTION AND WILL NEVER BREAK MY LOYALTY TO THE PRINCIPALITY. IF I DO BREAK THIS OATH, MAY IT MEAN MY DEATH. MAY THE PRINCIPALITY AND HIS MAJESTY BE BLESSED.
I didn't changed much on her, I was just waiting until the OOC was out to see if I'd need to, but I don't think that I missed anything. By the way, while I personally like soft colors, like teal much more, Itsuko... erm, 00017 is obviously more of a Yellow person. Now that we are set, let me say that I enjoyed that timeline you did, not only it looked like something you'd see at an Ace Combat game, but also the fact that you included some of the background I provided to my character was a pleasant surprise. Oh, lastly, I have some questions: - I wonder about to what point my statement about planes having greater strategic value in Close Air Support/Bombing missions is accurate? I can see CAUs turning Attack Helicopters and planes like the A-10 (a serious shame, since this is my favorite ground attacker) very obsolete, but what about their role on bombing? - Yet on the topic of the A-10, just in case I do a secondary character (which I'm not 100% sure yet), would a CAU be able to pack a GAU-8? A positive reply would seriously make me considerate a mecha pilot as a second character. - If the above is true, this question is pertinent so, how do CAU's deal with recoil from the humongous guns they pack? I suppose that it's using the same mechanics they use to deal with the obscenely high G-force their polit would be subject because of the CAU's hyper-maneuverability (probably some stuff about their alien organ ignoring momentum as it seems to be able to)? In case this is too much info feel free to answer that it's by videogame Physics. After all, it's not like any fiction pilot could survive a second if the maneuvers they do on their source material were made IRL... - I supposed fighters have a longer operational range, right? After all CAUs don't seem like the can pack so much fuel, though they obviously seem to have advantages when it comes to refueling be it mid-air, or on the ground because of their ability to hover as well as vertical take off/landing. - I think this is mostly the last for the time being, but what exactly qualifies as a low-speed dog fight when it comes to fighter vs CAU engagements? Considering that the usual plane's maneuverability drops with increases in speed (the reason why I love my Su-37 is because it defies this) but CAU's remain more or less constant because they can practically ignore momentum when turning? I guess that the key is not on speed but rather on skill, unless it's just about outrunning the enemy, right? PS: Sorry about this bombardment of questions, but I just want to make sure my character(s) don't accidentally say or do something stupid IC, for lack of info on my part. I hope this isn't a bother.
