Based on the last post so far, I think it would be safe to assume no one is going to be shot. I think enough "reasoning" has been thrown around to keep Eli from going ape shit for no good reason and to lower his gun seeing that both Brooks & Abi are cooperating. To your point, [@Stitches], I don't know why any of our characters would be mixed up this right now who isn't (in some way) already forced to. The "powered people" are being hunted by a shadowy organization that would rather put a bullet in your head than keep you around to talk it through, and I think just that threat a lone keeps everyone either moving, or sticking with a group they can trust as there is safety in numbers. ...However, yes, I do believe Eli is smart enough [i]not[/i] to kill a couple of people who he may find to be allies in the end, so I think you are okay to post with this assumption. My thought was that since Brooks seems to be good at "reading" people to a degree, perhaps he was able to surmise that Eli wasn't out to kill either one of them and takes point on the conversation from there. Something that can wrap this whole mess up, yeah?
