The village and the grave are litteraly on and around one mountain ((Mt.)Tori-san)There is not much lore to add. I can only add some lore about the yozuzume.

Yozuzume and rare youkai and almost hunted to exstincion for their feathers wich can blind a person, human or youkai alike for one day. 

Thats about all I can think of right now
