When he awoke again, there was a certain calmness in the air, no screams of fear as people were being annihilated, or the cries of those losing their lives, the horrible crashing of buildings collapsing all around him, his brother's tears falling into his hair... It was merely the white noise of the ocean waves rolling outside on the beach. Itzal winced as he sat up, he felt incredibly disoriented. This... Was definitely not his home planet, the smells were different and there was no magic to be felt circulating in the air. He frowned deeply, trying to make sense of what sort of situation he was in. He had to be dead, correct? No, there was no mistaken it. His planet had been obliterated, he could almost remember his body being torn apart as the planet exploded into millions of pieces. His eyes widened as he choked on a breath and hugged himself, he didn't want to remember that. Anything but that. He heaved a shaky sigh as he tried to calm himself again, closing his eyes as he tried to sense anything magical around him... But, to no avail. He pouted slightly as his tail swished in irritation, what sort of place was this anyway? The afterlife? He glanced out the window at the sunset, a pain in his heart as he remembered watching the sunsets on his planet with his brother... His brother... He jolted suddenly, was it possible that Sabre had made it here as well? He quickly got from his bed and opened the door, not sure what to expect as he left his room.
