I'm surprised and fail to see why there is so much skepticism on whether i'm telling the truth or not. as you said, what would i gain by lying? I'd just anger Varomere if i lied about knowing him and would most likely not get accepted in the RP. Doing that would be sketchy as fuck.

I also fail to see how there is a lack of communication? I'm not posting in Varomeres stead, I simply posted and thought that i might as well include that piece of information. Simply because i could. there was no obligation for me to do it, i just did it.
Me not finishing is also somewhat irrelevant on whether he will post the IC or not. while i'm sure it had some impact on it i'm also sure it's not that big of a deal. If i'm not finished in time (which i'm sure he expects) He will find a way to include me into the story at a later time and i'm honestly completely fine with that.

and The reason i am able to post here is very simple, I don't work non stop on my character as that is simply counter productive for me. I need room to think and collect my thoughts in order to come up with ideas that i like and I want my character to be able to fit into Varomere's world which is the exact reason i'm talking to him so much about my character.
you seem to forget that this is the primary reason that people RP in the worlds of other people, because they like the world. As such i want to know alot of it in order to make my character fit in well. and THIS is exactly the sort of communication a GM should have with his players. you should know this for you discussed your characters relation with the keeper of flames at length over PM.

and frankly yes I do feel a bit taken aback and insulted by this. I never expected this seemingly arrogant and frankly entitled behavior from people that I don't even know.

Let me just finish this by saying that i'm taken aback but that there are also no hard feelings. I think we just got off on the wrong foot and should  forget about this whole ordeal, now.
