In these horrid times, a voice that calls for peace is seldom. But peace is what the people of New Zealand desire. 
And because this matter is dire and urgent, I will personally appear at the peace conference in Geneva.

I, as well as the Prime Minister, express my condolences to the Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy. However, as a dominion of Britain, we cannot attend a funeral of someone we are at war with, even if we wanted to.
