First of all, ho-ly crap. Thank you all so much for the interest and jumping right into conversing about your characters! To be totally hinest, when I woke up, I was a little overwhelmed at first, but all that has fueled my excitement and inspiration. I can't wait to get started! He has a short attention span and often acts impulsively on his curiosities. He hates being told what to do, he seeks freedom, adventure and excitement. And aims to fill the mundane spaces between with every type of ale ever made. Brief Backstory - Azerus would tell you he has had a simple yet troublesome life living on the streets and bouncing through orphanages, abandoned by his parents for his unusual 'features'. And that's all he will tell you of that.
Azerus is living proof that some of the most respected and highest influential ranking nobles of Conra have had 'unholy' meddling's in their past, or at least carried knowledge of. His painstakingly obvious tainted linage a fearful adequate case to bring detriment and ruin to reputation and family name. For that reason Azerus has had no family name, living a hidden secluded life unaware oh his true parents. Azerus was never abandoned, that was too risky, nor could they kill a child. Things were put in place that saw him have a very lavish up bringing with the best tutors and entertainers, but it came at a costly price of strict rules, discipline and heavy confinement. However all that was put in place began to crumble at the death of the queen. Azerus felt his presence become more and more of an unwanted intrusion as time passed, he was becoming an increasing inconvenience and liability, his life growing ever at risk as those with ill will conspired behind hidden doors.
Current Events - Yearning for adventure Azerus fled the city, directionless he chose to accompany a young friendly woman. Skills - Azerus's physical skills far supersede that of his social. He is an adequate musician and acrobat as well as being adept at wielding pole arms and small blades. His true passion however lies in mastering the sword. Gear - Azerus has the weapons of a warrior and the armour of a mud wrestler. This is only partially due to circumstances and mostly to do with his arrogance. Although it's not an arrogance misplaced, his lightning reflexes do give cause for this confidence, his desire to move unhindered fairly warranted. Spells -

Ect - If you have anything else you want to share!
Swordsman
[@Dark Light] Awesome! I really like that character and I don't have anything that stands out as unfit for this world. His desire to grow in swordplay gives me a few ideas already!
[@Rune_Alchemist] I will answer these questions as if I haven't read the rest of the thread. Firstly, thank you for the Welcome! Secondly, of course you are free to join! As for the races, personally, you could make an argument for any race. Personally I would avoid changlings or cursed monsters as most Civilized people are scared of and hate monsters. This feeds a little into some racism toward goblinoid races, like Orcs, Trolls, and Goblins. They get a lot of crap because of their skin color or facial bone structures. Magic.... I don't want to smother creativity in magic. So I have been thinking about its restrictions. Constant use of Magic or use of strong magic will make the mage tired. Conditions for good magic casting is being well fed, healthy, and well rested. Classes of magic.... Elemental is what I'll say. So like, magic falls under certain elements. The basic elements I won't really explain. Fire, Ice, Air, Earth, and Lightning (it's an element). Not many people can easily use mixed elements. They tend to specialize in one or two. Some other elements I'd like to include are Kinetic, Which controls physical movement and force. Levitation and movement of items falls under kinetic. Holy magic, healing and repels those decidedly unholy. Holy magic can be learned by anyone gifted for magic. It heals, lights the way, and for the most advanced, teleport (though the spell for teleportation is a guarded secret of Ballion). Those who wield holy magic are not by any means instantly a good guy, also anyone tucked with Dark Magic would be hurt by holy magic. The only magic seen as inherently evil is Dark Magic. Control of the shadows. This magic kills most casters right away wth one known exception currently terrorizing Sarah's hometown. Most monsters are touched by Dark magic and are immune to its effects. I will go into more detail on Dark Magic in the story as it's not a widely known element. I hope that helps. He will treat warriors with respect and he will treat those that are too afraid to fight for their lives with no mercy. He is usually friendly with other races despite him being an orc. He is usually the last one awake when it comes to groups. Gun'tar's driving goal is gain enough experience ( in life / combat ) to lead his tribe. Backstory Gun'tar was born to Galtosh Molokai and Mareea Molokai. His father has lead the tribe since he was 25. His father was a prodigy between the Ice orcs. He was a born fighter and he killed the last leader without even breaking a sweat , even though that the old leader defeated everyone in the tribe , be it woman or man just to prove his strength. His father was the youngest leader the tribe ever had so when Gun'tar was born Mareea the tribe's shaman had a vision saying that Gun'tar will be stronger and wiser than his father. Hearing this Galtosh trained his son since he was barely able to use an axe. Gun'tar had a hard life because of this. He always had to live up to expectations. Always *had* to be the best in the tribe. But when the time came for him to challenge his father ( every year a celebration is held and anyone who wants to challenge the leader can do so then ) his father almost killed him in combat. Ashamed of his son Galtosh banished Gun'tar from the tribe. Mareea , his mother , was destroyed but she knew this will be the journey that will shape Gun'tar into the leader he was meant to be. So when he left , she quickly gave him the pendant of warning , an ancient artifact that was given from shaman to shaman in the tribe. Skills His time with his orc tribe meant he is trained in the ways of combat since he was still a child. He prefers using an Axe but he is proficient with a sword too. He has a good constitution and can hunt ( reading tracks , smelling blood ( orc trait ) ) He is well made , years of constant fighting makes his body all muscled. He spent 29 years of his life in constant cold. He is cold resistant. Current Events Gun'tar just came back from a hunting trip and was selling everything that he didn't need for the trip. After a year outside his tribe he learned a lot of the outside world and he was ready to go back his tribe to lead them. He heard of a human helping the refuges that can fight with a sword and is going in the same direction , he's curiosity got the better of him and he had to see this human who can fight so well that tales are spun around him. Gear Wears iron armor covering his body and his "manhood". Legs do not have armor because that would slow him down too much. Has an Axe and a Sword. The weapons are made out of Idarium ( a metal that is stronger than normal iron / steel and that Ice Orcs use to make all of their weapons ) Has a small pendant given to him by his mother , the tribe's shaman that is enchanted to vibrate when danger is about. *for anything else that I didn't wrote , go look at the picture :) * Etc His axe is named Bun'Gul'Garam , which means " the one who never yields " in orc language. His sword is named Garam'Dora'Mala , which means " the one who kills those the yield " in orc language. Purely for story , can orcs have this *thing* where they always name their weapons ? [@lady sven]
This is it :) I hope it's ok :)
He is brilliant [@Ashevelendar]! As for naming weapons, I could see many or tribes doing that very thing. I really like what you have done and I think he will be a great addition to the cast!

Hello [@Lady Sven], I would like to join the RP. This character is a member of a crusading guild known as the Audrian Order, which I will explain more in-depth below.
Name: Wolff von Heschburg Titles/Aliases: Brother, Knight-Brother, Knight of the Black Cross Race: Human (Vessian) Age: 29 Personality Information: Wolff was a noble-born knight who joined the Audrian Order and swore oaths that stripped him of his lands, titles, and belongings. As such, he has the knightly virtues of chivalry, dedication, and respect. However, being a Knight of the Black Cross, he can show signs of severe paranoia, and is quick to distrust anyone new, and is extremely prejudiced against goblin-kind and magic-users. Regardless, Wolff is a man of nobility and has sworn to protect the weak, innocent, and poor - and his personality clearly shows he is willing to help in whatever way he can. Brief Backstory: Wolff was a low-born noble from the Vessian Empire. His older brother would have inherited his father's lands, titles, and wealth, and so Wolff joined the Audrian Order when he was 16. The Order trained him well and he quickly became a well-respected member of the Brotherhood. He was attached to the Conra garrison and served faithfully. Current Events: More recently, Wolff was dismayed at the death of the Queen and requested he leave his post to investigate potential leads. His komtur permitted this and so Wolff has found his way to a small town, where he seeks information from a young girl. Skills: Wolff is a knight, so he is an excellent equestrian, swordsman, and jouster. He is also decent with a crossbow. ---Fanatical Devotion: Wolff is unrelenting in combat, and fights with grim determination against his enemies. His tenacity in combat is unmatched and he is willing to die for his cause and for his allies. He also possesses extreme willpower. Gear: Wolff is equipped with mail armor that covers most of his body, which is covered by a white surcoat emblazoned with a black cross. He wears steel gauntlets that protect his arms and hands. He also wears leather boots with steel shin guards. He wields a heater shield, a steel sword, a crossbow with bolts, and a lance. Other: Wolff is a member of the Audrian Order, based in the Vessian Empire (a human realm). Almost a decade ago, many Vessian Knights served in the Swavian Rebellions, but when they returned home their lands had been sacked and their families butchered. The vengeful knights rallied behind Konrad IV, invaded the neighboring province of Eastwick, and committed the atrocious Massacre at Arburg. The Emperor promptly arrested them and the knights were to be executed, but after the Emperor convened with the Varan King it was decided that Konrad IV would become the grandmaster of a new order: the Brothers of the Sword. The Brothers were tasked with quelling the aggressive raids made by the Wickans, and they did so with brutal efficiency. After the Wickan Crusade was finished, the order rapidly expanded throughout the world, establishing chapter houses, chapels, orphanages, schools, universities, hospitals, and more. Back in Eastwick, most Knight-Brothers were secularized and given keeps, lands, and servants, and they rule with an iron-fisted authoritarian government. These lands became known as the Duchy of Audria, ruled by the former Grandmaster, Konrad IV, who married the Vessian princess Lady Audrey von Hepburn. The Duchy of Audria is now protected by what remains of the Brotherhood, now known as the Audrian Order. They must garrison their establishments in other kingdoms to protect them, but the true purpose of these Knight-Brothers is to seek out sources of darkness, evil, and corruption and then work to destroy it so no one else will have to feel what they felt when the Wickans destroyed their lands. They eliminate all traces of darkness with grim determination.

Wow. Very devout in the extermination of all that is dark. And the bit of their chapter houses spreading through the world is very plausible as well. I could see them having a firm seat in Belwind as it would most likely have travellers from afar. Conra would not turn them away but I am sure many would see the Order negatively and just as many would see them positively. I definitely welcome this new addition to the cast![@TJByrum] I feel it is important to note that Monsters are generally uncommon except in the wildlands of the world. Conra is apparently being overrun. While many of the characters have experience in fighting/hunting, monsters will still prove dangerous.
Final side notes, vampirism in this world isn't all glorious. They have increased healing abilities and are stronger and faster than the average of their base race. However, sun won't burn them and holy magic won't outright kill them unless they have personally tampered with Dark Magic. Vampires are local legend in most places and aren't openly accepted. I mean, they drink blood! Common folk would never be accepting of that. Whether it be human blood or livestock, it is a danger to most villages and towns and they don't want anything threatening that. Uhm... thank you all, seriously. I am so happy with all I have seen so far!
