@Ellion Oh my! I swear that was purely coincidental! (I don't read other's CSes before making my character to avoid the temptation of using another's ideas even subconsciously) I can definitely change it if it's bothering you! I swear I hadn't seen your CS beforehand >.>
@Wicked Sweet Can you change the text color? Because black is complete eyerape against this grey background, I have to highlight everything to read it. lol
Otherwise, I think she's an interesting character (Not another shy/introvert).
A quick and boringly standard question: is this roleplay still open for another character? It appears that there has been a sudden explosion in characters, so I was wondering if the "limit" has been hit yet (you know, before I spend an absolute eternity on creating the character I have in mind)?
@Ellion Would "by the end of the night" be too harsh of a deadline? For reasons, I want to assign all powers at the same time, and I'd like to do so some time tomorrow.
I'll let people come in late, either way, so don't stress it too much.
I'll probably get powers posted at noon(EST) tomorrow. You'll have right up until then to get a CS in to be a part of the first wave. Latecomers will be affected slightly, but don't worry, you'll still be able to start playing immediately and your character won't get the short end of any stick.
Sorry to be vague, there's something I'm keeping a bit close to my chest.
So those of you who haven't applied yet, you still have some time. It's taking me longer to go through the characters than I expected. I am currently actively working on it, though, so don't be discouraged.
@Gisk I know you said we can't make multiple characters (or only one character may get a power) but can I make a side character to supplement Zoey's story?
Here's my character so you all can see it. For reasons, she was mostly copy/pasted from an RP that didn't get off the ground. Once again, I will explain why when I drop the powers.
Name: Audrey Springer Appearance:
A skinny girl with nut brown skin, and shiny, straight black hair cut in a pixie cut. Her almond eyes are vivid green, and her face is often without makeup, though her head is rarely seen without a hat. Her face tends toward the deadpan, and she dresses for comfort, usually in favorite ripped jeans and loose tops in the summer. Fall and winter will see more intact jeans and flannels.
From her collar bones to about halfway down her breasts is inked black, from where she covered a Greenbriar Rogues tattoo after she ran away from home.
It is not at all uncommon for her to be adorned with scrapes or gashes, and occasionally even stitches.
Personality: Generally friendly and conversational in disposition, but her refusal to be stepped on often makes her come off as "bitchy." She's quick to remark that the same behavior in men would be considered normal. She does have to admit that she has a temper, and is easy to get in a fight with. This, along with her general vulgarity tend to get her in trouble, but she's quick to forgive her friends(not so quick to forgive an authority figure).
She is a doer, one to find solutions to her problems, and one to do it herself. Fiercely independent, she hates asking for help, and hates feeling powerless.
She's known for getting into fights, and isn't afraid even of people who could obviously hurt her very badly. She will absolutely bring a knife to a fistfight, or a gun to a knife fight.
Likes: Loud and fast in general. Seafood, as well as the ocean. Pop punk and metal music.
Dislikes: Authority, pretension, responsibility.
Hobbies: Tuning her motorcycle, bar hopping(with a fakey). Surfing(a particularly dangerous hobby at the local beach, but there's a small following of people who do it anyway). Kickboxing.
Background: Her paternal grandfather was a young GI, and his grandmother was an even younger girl from Korea who became infatuated with him and went back to Oregon when the war was over. At home, he became a mechanic and joined the local motorcycle club, the Greenbriar Rogues. His son became a member as well, but he produced a daughter. Audrey had to fight hard to be seen as an equal around the shop and the Rogues' clubhouse, and never quite managed it in either place.
She was expelled from Greenbriar High for decking a teacher, and dropped out of Riverview's school to just keep working at her grandfather's shop. She in turn left both the shop and the town after her generally sexist treatment at the hands of the men who worked there(including the ones related to her).
She is only just now returning to the town, bitter and contrite after she has run out of money and ready to make some kind of amends with her family.
Very much custom Honda Valkyrie.
I am still working on powers, but it's slow going during spare moments, just to keep you all updated.
Since our PCs were all born within the same time frame, in the same town, and graduated from the same school should we not try to determine how well our characters know one another?

I think that we should. Especially since they live in a relatively small town, and it is the smallest graduating class. They'd at least know of each other.

I think I made a few comments about Zoey's relations with other characters... It'd help to know who's accepted or not. lol
Just assume yourselves accepted. Except for the one unfinished CS I don't see any problems so far. I'll let you know if there are when I come across them.
