Even after the lights went out, he still watched critically, his nanite optics allowing him to see with perfect clarity in the dark, or any enviroment for that matter. The girl was brilliant, as well as collected, and if it weren't for the contained environment, she would have succeeded quickly. Mimic didn't seem interested in playing fairly, instead he resorted to an advantaged state that allowed him to quickly deconstruct any attack that went his way, then play it off as if it were the student's incapability that caused him to win, and not the strategically created environment that drastically tipped the scales towards his side. It was quite ironic, while Mimic loved to mention how the "real world" would have destroyed student's for their mistakes, the primary reason for Rebekah's failure was due to how far from the real world the battle took place in. Nathan had fought before in truly life or death situations, and from the battles he learned that he should always expect to be at a drastic disadvantage. But, he had learned quickly, and there was a reason he hadn't been killed long before. In a fight there was one thing that could be the deciding factor between victory and defeat, it isn't strength, speed, experiance or technique, the one thing that can truly lead a battle is how much you're willing to hurt the person you're up against. It's how willing you are to destroy an enemy that determines the victor, and nothing else. As the second battle finished, he stood again, volunteering himself. "My turn."
