After finally reaching the cafeteria, Elizabeth came across the same image as every other day--patients eating, chattering amongst themselves in their small groups, save for the loners who preferred their own company, and also the strong presence of the guards watching them all like hawks. She couldn't help but smile when she noticed Josh, probably the youngest guard within the facility, casually leaning against the wall as if he were in some boring frat house party. "Greetings", he said to her, and she returned the gesture with a quick wave. "Josh, my favorite guard!" Blatant lie, she equally disliked them all. Nothing personal, they just stood between her and her sweet freedom. "How open are you to doing favors for someone like me? You know I've never given you any trouble, not in the two years and some since you've been here." She was hoping like hell that he'd bite, and maybe then he would actually become her favorite person there.
