[@Kronshi] Awesome!  Yeah, it was fun writing that side of Chromite for sure, hopefully it will help shed light on why she isn't like that now.  And yeah, I thought this would work well enough with your headcanon.  Like, maybe Bloodstone noticed her at some point after her jobs with the other Chromite soldiers?  As for all Chromites being equipped with shields, that sounds good to me.  Gems have been shown using equipped weapons before, so it makes sense.  Since Chromites are supposed to be frontline defenders, they would all at least need shields, and a Chromite who couldn't generate armor would likely be seen as defective and disposed of.
